preferred name for my magazine but I received no other
suggestions because the people I asked explained how
the names I chose were suitable. The second most voted
for was ‘Label’ (36%) and Grayce Durden who answered
one of my questionnaires said ‘I really like this name as it
relates to the music category and it is very trendy.’

background studio and Tayla grove said ‘ I think the white
studio gives a more professional feel to the image because it is
simplistic yet affective.’ Despite 28% of the people I asked
saying graffiti wall in London I agree with Tayla and the other
71% who said the white background studio.

Even though I have already decided on using the genre
Indie I wanted to include this question in my
questionnaire because I wanted to make sure this is the
favoured genre. My results do display this with 39% of
the people I asked saying they preferred the genre indie
to another options I had given them.

favourable gender for my front cover, only 18% of the
people I asked preferred a male model for my front
cover with 82% saying they preferred a female
model. Despite already deciding on a female model I
wished to gather information from my questionnaire

51% of the 100 people I asked said they wished for the
main cover lines to be on reviewed bands and artists
which feature in the magazine which I will take into
account when I make my magazine. Only 14% voted for
a competition puff but I feel this will appeal to my
target audience because it will stand out and catch the
eye of the possible buyer.

liked the 2nd font the most which is also my favourite
font because it is modern and stylish. The least favoured

dependent on the quality of my magazine and
63% of people said they would pay £3. Louise
Warner said, ‘I would be willing to pay £3 for the
magazine if it consisted of what I would look for
in an indie magazine and was attractive.’

Weekly Fortnightly Monthly
64% said they would like the magazine to be
released fortnightly which is often enough to
release new gossip which has come out in the
music industry therefore keeping customers up to
date. Only 17% said to be released monthly
because it would not keep the customers up to date
like they would be if it was released fortnightly.

For this question I wanted advice on what I could
include on my double page spread and the most
favoured was upcoming music which received
64% . Even though this advice is very helpful I will
still include small parts life style of star and what
made them decide to enter the music industry so I
can cater to all people.
What is your opinion of the colour scheme
red, white and black?
For this question I asked the opinion of 100 people and here is some of
the things they said:
• Davide Kelliher, ‘ This colour scheme is very affective because they
compliment each other.’
• Becca Weight, ‘I really like that colour scheme because it suits the
indie theme.’
• Lucy Davies, ‘ I think you should add a metallic colour because it
will stand out more therefore it will catch the eye of the buyer.’
• Heikel Edwards, ‘The three colours used are strong and bold but I
agree with Lucy that adding a metallic colour, for example silver,
will help it stand out.
