The questionnaire responses showed that the target audience for the magazine is 15-20 year olds, with slightly more male (55%) than female respondents. Kerrang! was identified as the most popular existing music magazine read by respondents. Most listened to music on their phones and favored alternative rock bands like Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Paramore. Based on this research, the magazine will focus on alternative rock music, include free music downloads as incentives, and have a lower price point to appeal to student budgets.

The simplified electron and muon model, Oscillating Spacetime: The Foundation...RitikBhardwaj56
Discover the Simplified Electron and Muon Model: A New Wave-Based Approach to Understanding Particles delves into a groundbreaking theory that presents electrons and muons as rotating soliton waves within oscillating spacetime. Geared towards students, researchers, and science buffs, this book breaks down complex ideas into simple explanations. It covers topics such as electron waves, temporal dynamics, and the implications of this model on particle physics. With clear illustrations and easy-to-follow explanations, readers will gain a new outlook on the universe's fundamental nature.

2. 1. How old are you?
• 100% of the people who did my questionnaire
were 11-20 years old. This is because I asked
my target audience to fill them in and my
target audience are people aged 15-20. This
means that my audience research will be
more precise and exact to fit my target
audience, rather than asking middle aged and
elderly people as they would not be likely to
buy my magazine.
3. 2. What is your gender?
gender
male
female
55% of the people I
asked to fill in my
questionnaire were
male and 45% were
female. I tried to get an
even amount of male
and female people to
answer my
questionnaire to make
my audience research
fair and equal.
4. 3. Have you ever read a music magazine?
yes/no
yes
no
There was only two people
who answered my
questionnaire that haven’t
read a music magazine. They
answered the questionnaire
because their favourite genre
is rock music so even though
they are not educated in
magazine they are educated
in the genre of music and
their opinions could be
helpful to bring in a wider
audience.
5. 4.How often do you read music magazines?
Column1
once a month
oncer every
two months
rarely
other
55% of the people who
did my questionnaire buys
magazines monthly. This is
the majority of the
people, therefore I have
decided to publish my
magazine monthly too. I
have also decided to
publish it monthly so that
I’m not putting the same
information in every issue.
6. 5.Which music magazine(s) do you read?
Magazines
Kerrang!
Rock Sound
Mojo
NME
Q
classic rock
The most popular magazine that
is read by my target audience is
Kerrang!. This tells me that
Kerrang! is the most popular
magazine out of them all and I
should analyse this further to
discover why Kerrang! is so
popular. The second most popular
was Q followed by NME. Q and
NME aren’t dedicated
7. 6.What do you like about these magazines? Why do you keep buying them?
• The people who bought Kerrang! said that they kept buying it
for the posters for their walls. They said they enjoy the articles
in Kerrang! and how simple it is.
• The people who bought Q said they enjoy the variety of
genres that it covers.
• The people in my research that bought Rock Sound said that
they liked the magazine because it covered a variety of bands
and they thought the front cover was always eye-catching.
• The people who bought Mojo and Classic rock said that they
enjoy this magazine because its not just all of the recent
stuff, they cover bands from years ago.
8. 7.How do you listen to music?
devices
Radio
Cds
Mp3/4
Phone
Internet
TV
Most people listen to music using
their phone, this tells me that it
may help sell my magazine to
give away a free download with
every copy. The next two biggest
ones are TV and Internet. /the
internet again tells me that a free
download would be a good idea
and maybe an advertisement on
a music channel would help me
sell copies.
9. 8.What is your favourite genre of music?
• The majority of the people who filled in my
questionnaires said that their favourite genre
of music was alternative rock apposed to
heavy rock, although a small amount of
people also mentioned classic rock and pop
rock. This suggests that I could include a
number of different sub-genres in my rock
magazine however I have decided alternative
rock will be the main focus.
10. 9.What is your favourite band?
• I got a variety of different bands for this question
however the names that came up the most were
Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, Paramore and You Me
at Six. All of these bands are alternative rock with
the acceptation of Paramore being classed as pop
rock by many, Paramore cover a range of sub
genres. I also found that Bon Jovi was a popular
answer. Asking this question helped me decide
what bands should feature in my magazine.
11. 10. What is your favourite colour?
• There was a wide range of colours mentioned
for this question from purple to orange to red
and black to pink. However, I have decided
that this question didn’t help me pick my
colour scheme as most people don’t associate
their favourite colour with their favourite
music genre.
12. 11.Do you link music to your personality?
• Most people who answered my questionnaire
said that they definitely relate their
personality to music and their taste in music.
This tells me that I must find a way to add
personality to my magazine to grab my
readers attention.
13. 12. How many hours a day do you listen to music?
Hours
1
2
3
4
5
more
The majority of people who took my
questionnaire listen to music for 2-3
hours a day. If I link the amount of
people who listen to it for over 3
hours, that then becomes bigger. This
shows that my readers listen to music
and it’s a big part of their life so to
intrigue my audience I need my
magazine to stand out and again I think
the best way to do this from what my
audience research has told me is to
include a free download.
14. 13. What are the first three words that come into your head when you think about rock music?
• This question was not answered very well by
the people who answered my questionnaire
as they didn’t really understand the question.
Most of the words that came from my
questionnaire were ‘loud’ and ‘rhythmic’ and I
didn’t want to use these as my magazine title
so I am not going to use them.
15. 14.Roughly how much money do you spend on music magazines per week?
• I had a range of answer for this question going
from £3.50-£5.99. This is why I have chosen to
give my magazine a lower price. Firstly
because if they’re already spending a large
amount of money on a music magazine and
they find a cheaper one that is just as good
they will go for that one. Also my target
audience is a student and students aren’t the
richest group of people.
