Here is my first question for my survey, I asked a mixture of male and females to get
an overall representation of the population, it will also allow me to decide who my
main audience will be.
• This is my second question, the results have
given me the feedback that most people who
  answered to questionnaire where
teenagers, this have told me that my magazine
should be catered for the teenage market.
• My third question asked how often do they
read magazines, it has given me the feedback
that there should be a magazine once a month
as this is how often they read magazines –
  once a month
For the price of magazine I have decided to sell the magazine for £2:50 as this
is the most they would be willing to pay, after a few issues and people now like
my magazine the price will go up, to make more money
The genre of the magazine will be R and B because this is the
one that most peoples favourite genre is, it is also my favourite
genre so it will make it better as I enjoy the music. 6/11 people
like R and B
The colours of my
magazine will be
bright and vibrant
thanks to my
survey, they said they
would like to see
bright colours in my
magazine.
• There will be more pictures in my magazine
than anything else like articles, competitions
because my respondents have said they would
like to see pictures more than articles, so the
ratio will be more pictures than articles
• I have decided to have a competition in my
magazine, this will make people want to buy it
so they can enter the competition. On my
pilot issue the competition will be a chance to
win free concert tickets because this is what
  my respondents want.
• My final question was ‘what would you expect to read in a
magazine. The results I got was they would want an interview with
an artist, with gossip and popular topics, this will help it appeal to
the target audience. My two page spread will be an interview with
an artist and a image of him or her.
