- 1. Question 6 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
- 2. Digital SLR cameras I first used this camera for my photo-shoot for my front cover, I quickly got the hang of how to use the settings and options to make my image zoomed in/out etc.. I also learnt how to change the settings to auto so I could get the right light balance to get the perfect photo.
- 3. Adobe Photoshop I used Photoshop to create my magazine’s front cover and contents page. This piece of technology was completely new to me and was very important yet easy to handle. It had a help button so I could easily find out how to do things without having to worry. Photoshop also helped me get my research to my target audience as I could save it as a JPEG option and transfer it to Facebook where I had set up a focus group.
- 4. Internet I used the internet a lot. I used it to research my target audience and similar magazines so I could make mine as real and professional as possible. I also used Facebook as a means to get my research and magazine straight to my audience, this helped me a lot as I was able to get instant feedback from them. I used YouTube as a means of answering one of the questions in my blog.
- 5. Adobe InDesign I used InDesign to create my double page spread. It was very hard to use, there was so many settings to try and handle. I used it to put pictures together and put pages together which made my double page spread look real. I also used it to get my ideal font so it appealed more to my audience.
- 6. Blogger Throughout this assignment I have constantly used blogger. Blogger was the main piece of technology I have used. Blogger helped to keep everything together and organised so I could make my magazine finished on time. I also used blogger as a reminder of what I have learnt. An example of this is I used it to put up images of copy and pasted work from other technologies so I could see how well I'm doing.
