How did you attract and address
your audience?
Whilst planning my opening scene I used survey monkey in order to receive feedback from a real
audience. I first asked for their age and gender so that I was able to narrow down my answers from my
data to my target audience. Furthermore this helped me in then being able to decide on the type of
music to include whilst editing my opening scene, and informed me of what my target audience expect
from the genre. Using survey monkey was really useful as it abled me to keep all my results in one
place so I was able to find them easily, and it was an easy reliable way of receiving my target audiences
feedback.
Furthermore after completing my opening scene I uploaded it on YouTube in order to be able to receive
feedback on what people like and dislike. I thought this would be a good way to receive reliable feedback
as YouTube Is a worldwide organisation therefore it would mean I would be getting a wide range of
opinions. Moreover the feedback was very useful as the comments people left helped me with what I could
improve on if I was to do it again, however it also made me see the things people liked the most about it,
therefore allowing me to know what to include again next time in order to keep people interested. Here is
some of the feedback I received:
