Incoming and Outgoing Shipments in 1 STEP Using Odoo 17
Question 5
1.
2. PLANNING
• During planning for our main filming task we had to document
our process online on a website called blogger.
Blogger is a free tool made by google where users can create a blog and post their
own content using HTML coding where users can embed different articles of media
from other websites. This was one of the first pieces of technology I had to learn to
use as I was unfamiliar with HTML codes and had never used a blog site before. I am
now extremely familiar with the different commands in HTML and was even able to
personalise my blogs HTML so that the interface is personalised with the different
sections to my project. Blogger was one of the simpler technologies we had to use as
it generally just involves copying and pasting embed codes, however this is something
I had never done before and I had not even known what an embed code was so I am
pleased to have found out how to do this and have found it an extremely useful tool
for documenting my planning.
3. I have also learnt that you can embed pretty much anything even if the
embed code isn't given to you, by right clicking>inspect>elements, and then
simply copying and pasting the embed code. I have included an example
below where I have embedded an image, but this also works for gifs and
videos.
RIGHT CLICK IMAGE> INSPECT.
COPY EMBED CODE
PASTE EMBED CODE
IN HTML SECTION ON BLOGGER IMAGE APPEARS ON POST
4. Here are a few of the different technologies
I used on my blog as well, I used these
throughout documenting all three stages
that I'm going to talk about during this
PowerPoint but I decided to add them in
here as they were most relevant to the
planning stage. I had to get to know how to
use all of these various different
technologies, some such as word paint and
PowerPoint I was already very familiar with.
But I had never used the other sites (beside
YouTube) On my blog you can find examples
of where I've used these different sights
that show you the different things each site
is capable of and how each one has
contributed to my blog.
5. FILMING
• The camera we used to film our piece is the
Sony HXR-MC2500E, a high definition digital camera.
The camera is ideal for this type of project as it provides
high quality footage and shooting style but is also easy to use and not overly
pricey for an education facility budget.
I learnt how the camera functioned relatively quickly through simply doing some test
shots out around the school, this was a quick and easy process for our entire group as the
camera is simplistic in the fact it only has a few different buttons, so we all got to grips
with how the camera itself worked fairly quickly. I found it interesting when it came to
shooting the actual footage for our piece how much I learnt about the importance of
different camera angles in order to portray certain atmospheres within scenes, and how
the lighting was also a massive part of this process. We used the camera light for a lot of
scenes and found it a very helpful and effective tool to have. I also learnt about the
importance of having a tripod on set and how the height of the camera plays a massive
part in getting the right look for the scene. As well as realising it is a lot harder to film with
a steady hand if you're not using a tripod.
6. EDITING
• To edit our project we used the programme Final Cut Pro X- a
commercial video editing application made for OS X from
apple. Final Cut has a range of editing possibilities,
including extensive variety of titles, effects , filters etc.
Final cut is a programme I had never used before and at first glance appeared
extremely daunting to me as it has so many different buttons and gadgets to use.
However although it took quite a bit of googling and watching tutorials, whilst also
just experimenting with different aspects of the programme. I am now able to say
that I could comfortably demonstrate how to use final cut pro, and for those parts of
our film that I didn’t edit myself, I watched so as to further my understanding of the
different components and allow myself to understand the programme as much as
possible so that I could edit just as well as other members of my group. I also
watched so I could give my creative input to the piece as I wanted to make sure that
the parts I wasn’t editing I was still happy with in terms of the way they looked.
7. This is another piece of software I used
for editing as I wanted to get certain
sound effects off YouTube (copyright free)
so I searched up ‘YouTube to mp3
converter’ and found a number of sights
that I was able to do this on. By simply
copying and pasting the link of the
YouTube video with the sound effect I
wanted into the converter I was quickly
able to download the sound effect onto
iTunes and from there add the audio file
into my project on final cut pro. Although
ITunes is a programme I am familiar with
using as I use it for my phone and music,
the YouTube to mp3 website was another
new technology I found out how to use
since starting this project.
