The document discusses different software programs and websites used for creating digital media projects. Microsoft Word is a word processing program that allows formatting text and inserting images. Microsoft PowerPoint is similar but designed for presentations with slideshows. Photoshop is an image editing program used to create digital images like posters and magazine covers. Premiere Pro is a video editing program used to assemble video clips into a trailer. Websites like YouTube, Dafont, Slideshare, FreeStockMusic and Blogger were also utilized to share and promote created works.

1. Microsoft word is word processor which allows you to
prepare documents and it has special feature such
different fonts, allows you to paste images, whilst
also including spelling and grammar check.
Microsoft PowerPoint is much like Microsoft word however it is a presentation
program which allows you to produce a slideshow presentation. I used power point
to create a different way in presenting my work, to then add it to my blog
A mac computer is a system used to produce work or for general use. When producing
our trailer it was essential to use a Mac computer as we edited the trailer on premier
pro. There is quite a big difference between Macs and Windows, however I easily
adapted to using them.

2. Photoshop is a program which is used to create digital images. I used photoshop to
create my poster and magazine cover. Previous to making my poster and magazine
cover I had used Photoshop so It was easier to produce the poster and magazine.

poster and magazine cover. I’ve had experience using Photoshop before but not for
anything similar to a horror poster and cover which has very different conventions
to other work I’ve done on the program. When creating my poster and magazine I
had to use most tools on Photoshop to make my work look as professional as
possible.
Premiere Pro is an editing program which allows you to create a clip, movie or
film. I used Premiere Pro to put my clips together in order to create my trailer.
As this was the first time I had used this program it was hard to use, however
after a few times I managed to get use to it.
This is the video camera which was used to record all of our trailer footage. It
was then uploading onto the Mac’s which then allowed us to edit our footage
on premiere Pro. The camera had basic functions so was easy to use, such as
the record, pause and stop button.

3. This Nikon camera was used for the photography
shots for my poster and magazine cover. This
produced high quality pictures which then made the
editing easier on Photoshop.
Dafont is a website which you can find lots of different fonts
on. This website allows you to download the fonts onto
which ever program you wish to use them on. I used Dafont
to find a horror type font to download to photoshop making
my the title of our film scary.
Slidshare is a software which you can upload your
powerpoints to so you are able to link them to blogger.
Slideshare is easy an efficient to use and was helpful
when uploading powerpoints to my blog.

4. Youtube is a website where you can watch
or share videos. Youtube is where our
trailer will be posted. By making our trailer
accesssable through youtube it made it
easy for anyone to view and any annotions
can be made easily to it.
Prezi is a presentation program which uses a virtual canvas
look. This is used as an alternative to powerpoint. Using
Prezi made my work look more attractive and presentable.
FreeStockMusic is a website where you can find
lots of sound and music clips that are free and
legal to download By using this website we
were able to find our soundtrack for the trailer.
It was 100% copyright free which was also very
good, as no permission was needed to use it.

5. Blogger is a website which allows you to
upload notes, videos, work. This was the main
platform for our work shown on our individual
blogs. It was easy to use and allowed us to put
links to YouTube.
