2. My magazine had to appeal to a wide audience and that meant I had to research my
target audience. After deciding on the rock genre I knew I needed to look into the
alternative community. This meant looking into stereotypes of the community and
getting to know their hobbies and likes.

3. MOODBOARD
For this part of my research I chose
to focus on the more visual aspects
of my target audience. This was so I
knew how my model should look
and dress to appeal to them. I also
focused on what bands they liked so
I could tailor the magazine so it
would grab their attention and make
them want to buy the magazine.

4. READER AND AUDIENCE PROFILES
Creating both my reader and audience profiles helped me focus what my should
include. This helped me gain a better understanding of my target audience so I could
make sure they would want to buy the magazine. While the reader profile gave me a
more general overview of what people liked and what they looked for when buying a
magazine, the audience profiles helped me focus on more individual views and
opinions. This helped me try and adept to both and make the best product I could.
