2. The audience of my product will be young females who range from the ages
16-21 that are interested in Jazz music and occupy themselves in Jazz
actively whether by singing, playing on instrument or Just even those who
are moved by the genre of music. The magazine is also suited to Jazz
bloggers ; Jazz bloggers are made reference to in the contents page of the
product in the column of the of the other features of the magazine.

3. Representation in relation to ethnicity
In terms of the target audiences ethnicity the
magazine will be aimed at all
ethnicities, although the image on the front
cover contradicts this idea.

4. Colour to identify target audience
The use of colour was essential in Identifying the target audience, because all colours have connotations
attached to them that may either attract the target audience or may not attract them. The colour red was
apart of the colour scheme of the product, and is a passionate colour which highlights the femininity of
the colour, meaning the colour is suited towards the target audience. The red connotes passion and that
was a link with how the target audience felt about the genre Jazz.
I also different font styles to help identify who would be the target audience of my media product.
The two types of fonts that I used consistently through out the process of making the product were: Times New
Roman and Stencil.
Here is an example of the font style ‘Times New
Roman’ in which I used for the pull out quote. I
used this font style because as it is a pull out The font style used for the masthead is ‘Stencil’. I
