Question 3
What kind of media institution
might distribute your media
product and why?
• The publisher I chose was Matt Mastrangelo the
publisher for rolling stones, he has influenced music
culture and knows all established musicians; I
wanted my magazine to be international because it
has various musicians from America and from
Europe. I wanted a wider range audience to sell
more magazines and as my magazine has a website
and is on social networking websites it should be
international because anyone see the website. I
chose him because he has a successful music
magazine, its Total Circulation (Paid & Verified) is
  1,464,943 copies sold internationally.
• I think that he is appropriate for my magazine as
my magazine will gain lots of recognition and
would sell more better if the magazine is
  becomes international.
• The rolling stones magazine is similar to my
magazine even though it is not based on indie
music but is based on all types of music it would
be appropriate for my magazine because it will
promote the upcoming artists in my magazine
and would sell the musicians music better.
• Looking back at my magazine stands evaluation,
rolling stones distribution methods is by social
networking site like magazine the rolling stones
has a facebook page, twitter, an account on
YouTube to promote musicians, RSS, four
square and a tumblr page. It has many cross
media and distribution methods to sell the
magazine. It allows people to read journalism
online website pages to listen to the latest music
on your phone because YouTube can be app on
  your phone.
