I feel thatour documentaryandancillarytextsare quite effectivebecause we have usedaconsistent
theme throughoutthe stage of our products.One manythingswe have includedinall of themisthe
title,we have usedthe same title toanchorall three productsto the theme.
Our nextcoherentuse isthe voiceover.We have made sure thatour personof
choice forthe voiceoverwasthe same forthe documentaryandthe radiotrailer.
Thisbeingsothere isa flowof consistencysothatwhenthe viewerscome to
viewingeitherone of the products,theyare able totie the two productstogetherandknow theyare
related.
“How doesyourBody reflectYOU?”thisis the sloganwe have includedinbothancillarytexts.It
anchors the twotogetherandimprints a rhetorical questionineachof the viewersmakingthemask
themselvesthatquestion. Inadditiontothis
we alsoaddeda word inour mainproduct and
one of ourancillarytexts(PrintAd) inorderforthe audience torecognise thatthe twoare linked,
alsowe made sure thatthe graphicfeature behindthe sloganinourancillarytextwasthe same
colouras the title inourmainproduct.
We have made sure to use the channel identinbothancillarytexts,Channel 4. The reasonfor us
choosingchannel 4 isbecause itispart of the All 4 productionumbrella,this
meaningthatour productbeingadvertisedonAll 4platformsandwouldhave
a lot of audience trafficcomingfromAll 4channels.
Thisis so the viewersall knowthatthe mainproductwill be airedonthisone specificallychosen
