How effective is the combination of your
main product and ancillary texts?
I think that all my three products work well hand in hand with
each other, the three products we created were a documentary, a
magazine double page spread and a radio trailer. I think that
both our ancillary products do a good job in advertising the
documentary in a creative way.
I think that the three products have a
clear link to one another, because they all
link, they also all needed to have the
same target audience. Our main target
audience that we wanted to engage was
the young audience as the themes of the
documentary are directly related to
young people mainly 16-25 year olds.
The main way that we engaged with this
audience was by clearly stating what the
subject of the documentary would be
about in the hope that this would in turn
attract an audience of people from
mainly this age range, the subject being
online streaming and the future of TV.

Conclusion
In conclusion I think that the main idea of the ancillary products was to relate and give a
taster of what the documentary was going to be like. I think that we achieved this in both
ancillary products, through target audience similarities, similarities in the style of the
three products and a clear link to the documentary.

Images we used in the Magazine Listings Article Conclusion In conclusion I think that the main idea of the ancillary products was to relate and give a taster of what the documentary was going to be like. I think that we achieved this in both ancillary products, through target audience similarities, similarities in the style of the three products and a clear link to the documentary.
