- 19. Males are normally portrayed as serious, hard working, and dominant. But I really wanted the guys in the pictures for the article to be more fun loving and laid back, just like Frank Turner.

- 21. But it is a different story with the guy on the front cover, I wanted the ‘sex’ appeal for him to attract girls to my magazine. I didn’t want him to look serious, but I wanted him to be positioned serious, so even though he has a smile on his face, he still looks like the real deal.

- 30. Through the research I have done I have discovered that the people that follow this particular trend seem to replica the styles of the band members and solo artists that are portrayed in magazines such as NME.
- 31. I believe I have managed to portray this in my product through the models, clothing and look I have gone for with my magazine. Which definitely represent the Indie/Rock type of person I was aiming to represent through my product.
