This document summarizes the technologies used by the student over the course of the project. It provides brief descriptions of the student's experience using various technologies including Blogger, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, YouTube, SlideShare, Prezi, Wordle, Scribd, Emaze, and Powtoon. For each technology, it lists positives and negatives of the experience in using that technology for the project.

3. I used Blogger to upload all of my work throughout the course.
This was my first time ever using blogger but I found it quite
easy to learn how to use it.

4. I had previously used InDesign but was not comfortable in all
areas. I learnt how to text wrap around an image, add a drop
cap and effectively and neatly lay text out in columns. I also
learnt how to effectively use typography by using kerning and
tracking.

boxes as guides
• Images were low quality – this
meant that the edited images
weren't as good quality on
InDesign as they were in
Photoshop
• Was a good preview setting to see
the final product – meant I could
spot any mistakes easily and
check layout
• Was difficult to find specific
colours as the swatches were
very generic colours so finding the
specific colour took time.
• Took a long time to export the final
files

5. I have a lot of previous experience with Photoshop, so my
experience with the program was fast and efficient. However I
did have to research how to airbrush the skin by using filters,
layer masks and the spot healing tool. I learnt via step by
step website tutorials.

6. I have had a lot of previous experience with PowerPoint so
using it in this project was no problem for me.

• Hyperlinks work well to link
between slides easily
• Finding the hyperlink button was
difficult when using a mac
• I am able to state the important
points without adding excess

• Adding images can sometimes be
frustrating as they paste into the

stylishly with a few clicks

7. I have lots of past experience with using word so I had no
problems with using it in this course.

8. Before taking this course had never used SlideShare before, I
learnt how to use the website fairly quickly.

10. I had used Prezi a few times before this course. I new the
basics of the site so found it simple to use.

11. This was my first time using Wordle, it was simple to use and
gave a nice effect.

12. I used Powtoon for the first time when writing my evaluation.
I found it easy to learn thanks to the short tutorial at the start.

13. I have used YouTube a lot in the past before this point so I
knew what to do when using the upload feature.
