Iain needs to develop a clear career path and influence his Digital Culture course design. One proposed idea is to redesign the entire course, but this could disrupt those invested in the current design and thwart creativity. It is better to start by understanding the original purpose of the course before proposing disruptive changes. Testing a prototype of engaging the course directors in the design process through a simple diagram and applying the SAMR model led to new positive discussions about improving the course.
