About
Mariana Salgado (1971) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has lived in Helsinki for 23 years. She has worked as a service designer at the Ministry of the Interior, in Finland (2020-2023). She was part of the innovation and design laboratory Inland Design, which is dedicated to designing public policies. She completed a doctorate studies in Media Design, specializing in how to make museums more democratic spaces. She conducts the Diseño y Díaspora podcast, in which she recovers experiences from his discipline linked to social action. The work projects that she is most passionate about are those in which she can interact with vulnerable populations, thinking of a better future.
