This proposal is for an audio drama called "Radio Silence" that will entertain listeners ages 18-28. It tells the story of two security guards trying to find an intruder through sound effects and their radio communications. The guards lose contact with each other as one investigates a room with the intruder. A mysterious voice then warns the other guard not to enter, and their radio also goes silent. The drama aims to create a creepy atmosphere without graphic content, implying supernatural themes that leave the ending open to interpretation. Younger audiences will need parental permission due to implied character deaths. Care was taken to avoid offending specific groups through implicit rather than explicit storytelling. The content is original and sufficiently different from other works to

f you offer a service on the web, odds are that someone will abuse it. Be it an API, a SaaS, a PaaS, or even a static website, someone somewhere will try to figure out a way to use it to their own needs. Working Title:
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Radio silence
Product’s Purpose:
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
To entertain people. I will achieve this by making it exiting to listen to, as well as being suspenseful
and slightly mysterious
Genre:
What sort of product is it
Audio: Conversation between 3 people (dramatization)
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is about 2 security guards trying to find an intruder. Sound effects: Echoing sounds,
Footsteps, Walkie talkie, Door shutting, Power shutting off, Power turning on, banging,
static, background whispering, echo. The story is that the first person sees an intruder on a
camera and sends person 2 (named Thomas) to get them. The cameras are thought to be failing
because they can’t find the intruder or Thomas on the cameras so person 1 resets the power.
When the power turns back on the intruder is in the room with Thomas. Thomas says that he’s
going to get closer to the intruder and then the radio goes silent on his end. Person 1 decides to go
to the main hall (were Thomas and the intruder are) but a voice warns them against entering the
room. When person 1 tries to go in anyway the radio goes silent on their end and the only voice
left is the mysterious one at the end.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Age: 18-28, Gender: Male, Social Status: D2, Psychographic: Needs driven
The content will be mature but without mature language, more mature themes. The content will
have creepy atmospheres without being overly gory and unappealing. The content will be easily
accessible and eye catching.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? Implied death of multiple characters
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Under 13’s cannot listen to without adult
permission.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? Might offend people who don’t believe in/are
against the supernatural
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? There won’t be anything explicit, it will mostly be
implied, so that people can make their own meaning out of it and their own ending.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes.
