Working Title: The Stranger
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: I want my film is horror because I want to show to hearing about how
deaf people can be good at acting. My horror film is most entertaining to makes audiences
attractive to watching my film. I know that most teenagers love to watch horror movies.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Horror Short Film
What sort of product is it
Content:
Location= Outside at the park and bridge.
Characters= One boy and three girls, teenagers.
What happened= The stranger contacts one of Jason’s friends. The Stranger is stalking wi
Jason and his friends. The Stranger kills two girls and one girl is injured. But at the end,
Jason finally kills him by accident. He pushes him and he is stabbed from a wood stick.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning: I researched some horror movies. I find the film called Halloween
which matches my film because that film influenced me to have the idea about a stalker and
deaths. I used a setting of death, murder and stalker. In my final production I will use a
mystery guy, blood, knife, characters and rooms.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
Audience: I think people who are interested in the Horror genre will be persuaded to watch
my film. My film target age range is 16-24 year old malesand females. Not rich or poor, only
normal people. My film will appeal to people who are socially conscious, and they will learn
that they must lock the door and not answer the phone to strangers.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: My film will include a bit of swearing because all teenagers
normally do it. My film does not include any religions. My film’s viewers must be 16 to 24
years. I used my characters in my film to show what happened when they have a stalker
and what happened when they meet the stranger. I do not copy from the other movies
because the copyright are more risks. My film is using deaf actors using sign language and
this makes it different to most other horror films.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
