This document discusses various propagation methods for fruit crops. It describes sexual and asexual propagation. 2. Propagation: The process of reproduction or multiplication of a plant from the
mother plant is called propagation.
There are 2 types of propagation methods:
• Sexual Propagation
• Asexual/Vegetative Propagation
 Grafting
 Air-layering
 Cuttings

3. Propagation by Grafting:
Grafting is a method of asexual plant propagation that joins plant parts from different
plants together so they will heal and grow as one plant.
