2. Commissioning:
Plant start up preparation, Nitrogen purging for vessels, pipe line flushing and blowing,
Mechanical spading & De spading and taking in service of vessels, pumps, pipeline, Heat
exchangers, flare knock out drum, storage tanks and Heaters.
Commissioning activities those includes activities like hydro testing, pneumatic testing,
water flushing, blowing (air, steam), and chemical cleaning. Making isolation as per process
requirement by providing spades, oil flushing etc. Depending upon the nature of fluid handling
system, Drying, System box up, Tightness test, Nitrogen displacement with feed in take etc.
Before commissioning of the plant other activities like functional test of Rotating equipments,
Stroke checking of Control valves and inspection of instrument checking of the plant for
completion as per P&ID etc. Pump and compressor start up operation.
Jetty Operation:
Responsible for the safe and efficient barge and tanker activities on the jetty, and for the
cleanliness of the jetty environment, and general upkeep of same. Ensuring that all safety and
firefighting equipment, and appliances are in a fit for use state. Fuel samples from vessel cargo
tanks. Assist with docking and undocking activities for all vessels discharging at the jetty. Hose /
loading arm handling and connecting, to and from marine tanker vessels. Controlling of valves
before, during, and after vessel operations. Monitoring the product movement from the marine
tanker vessel into the terminal import line. Ensuring that all Jetty activities are in compliance with
the safe operating procedures and practices.
Well Head Operations:
Well Testing, Inspection & Operation of Christmas tree. Flow Line Flushing Job, SSV, &

Hot Oil Unit:
The main purpose is heating the heat exchanger. It contains hot oil storage tank, hot oil recirculation
pump, hot oil hdr, hot oil return hdr. Hot oil is take the heat to from the turbine generator exhaust.
Temperature is 240dec Celsius.
Boiler & heater Treatment
Raw water sump operation, chemical Injection, sort water tank operation. Boiler operation, fuel
gas line operation. Burner pilot operation, Temperature, Fuel gas line operation. Burner ignition
system operation. Temperature maintenance, LCV, PCV operation. Drainage PRV operation, etc

4. Central Production Facility and Tank Farm:
Handling and operating storage tanks, crude heating and mixing system operation, tank samples,
tank dip level, monitoring roof for smooth operation, close monitoring of any leakage & spillage,
roof drain, water draw off, gravity drain and de – sledging operation, tank inlet/out let MOV,
export booster pump and foam pourer operation.
DCS experience:
For controller tuning, monitoring and controlling of process parameters, set point, process
variable, cause & effect, ESD, F&G system, smoke detector, flammable gas detector, toxic gas
detector, analyzer system, trending, interactive graphs, operation of remote start up machines.
Compressors:
Operation of Single and multi stage centrifugal compressors, reciprocating
compressors, screw type compressors. Initial start up of compressors, capacity control, anti surge
valve operations, loading unloading operations of compressors, silencers. Checking and monitoring of
all auxiliary items like cooling water system, aux oil pump, main oil pump, oil mist eliminator,
lubricating oil systems, seal system. Line flushing of these lines and filter cleaning, strainer cleaning
operations, etc.
Isolate the system according to isolation plan. Draining. If liquid item like pumps, strainers, filters,
do water washing. After sometimes N2 purging. If it is gas line, do N2 purging. Cooling, steam out for
hydrocarbon freeing, Check H2S, LEL, CO, O2. H2S less than 10% we can open manhole (or)
strainer cover. if big maintenance do blinding. Maintenance completed, Inspection, final box up, de-
blinding, post purging the system.
Pump Operation:
Monitor gauges and flowmeters and inspect equipment to ensure that tank levels,
temperatures, chemical amounts, and pressures are at specified levels, reporting abnormalities as
necessary. Monitor equipment gauges or displays to ensure proper operation. Record operating
data such as products and quantities pumped, stocks used, gauging results, and operating times
and production data. Communicate with other workers, using signals, radios, or telephones, to
start and stop flows of materials or substances. Measure the level or depth of water or other
liquids. Turn valves and start pumps to start or regulate flows of substances such as gases, liquids,
slurries, or powdered materials. Clean machinery or equipment. Collect and deliver sample.
Pigging Operation:
Successfully carried out pig launching receiving and tracking operation
PIGs controlled Caliper PIG, Bi Di PIG (disc), Scrubber PIG, Cup PIG, Foam PIG
Chemicals Handled:
Scale Inhibitor, Demulsifier, MDEA., Tri-Ethylene Glycol Corrosion Inhibitor, Dye.
Monitoring and adjusting chemicals injections and update lube oil and chemical stocks/space.

5. Duty and Responsibilities:
• Day to day data reports to Shift Supervisor / company staff in all daily operation activities.
Maintain all log books related to operation activities and daily production reports. Following the
SOP & PTW.
• Having through knowledge in hydrocarbon process, utility operation and all kind of process
equipment and control instrument operation and maintenance, personal & equipment safety and
all the safety procedures, process interlock, ESD levels. IR/UV Fire and Gas protection system
and all operating parameters.
• Sampling from test separator to sample bottles for future analysis.
• Regularly monitoring and logging the process events and operating parameters to keep the
process in optimum level in terms of operation and safety. Operating reports and up-to-date logs,
work permits near miss and other records. Evaluate the process and production conditions and
suggest improving the same in terms of operation, safety & production. Experience in operation
of DCS and ESP
• Immediately report every job and any abnormalities and job related incidents to supervisor.
• Taking necessary action to correct or stop any near misses, unsafe act, unsafe conditions and
unsafe practices.
• Actively participate all safety related meetings and trainings.
• Operate process equipment and utility systems in accordance with operating procedures to
