Jamnagar Export Refinery Complex of RELIANCE PETROLEUM LIMITED is the new
Refinery & Petrochemical complex which is under commissioning situated near by the
existing Refinery of Reliance Industries Limited in Jamnagar. It is having a crude
processing capacity of 650 KBPSD (32 MMTPA). Units are based on Technology of M/s
UOP, EXXON MOBIL, KBR and detail Engineering by BECHTEL. Distributed control
system for Refinery is of Foxboro I/A series 51 and is capable of plant wide automation
with new field foundation technology.
Job Profile:
I worked as a FIELD OPERATOR in the Clean Fuels Complex containing Diesel
Hydrodesulfurisation unit, Scanfining Unit (Gasoline Upgrader), LCO Hydrocracker and
Common Facilities.

2. Plant details are:
 Diesel Hydrodesulfurisation unit (DHDS)
 Capacity: 131 KBPSD each train (Total 2 trains). Meeting Euro-4 premium grade.

 SCANFINING UNIT
 Capacity: 54 KBPSD. Producing Gasoline grade from Selective Naphtha feed
 .
 LCO HYDROCRACKER
 Capacity: 60 KBPSD. Produce Naphtha and Diesel from low grade LCO.
All above plants are designed by EMRE/KBR, USA and detail Engineering of BECHTEL.
2. SAUDI ARAMCO MOBIL REFINERY (SAMREF) from may-13 to jan-14
in YANBU (KSA)
Worked as a Senior operlator in a hydrotreating & Isomerisation unit with handling
lighter materials like (C3,C4,C5,C6,C7 Hydrocarbon)
As a Refinery Field Executive responsible for following activities :
 Keep record of new equipments and Lines erection. Inspection of equipments as
per GA drawings.
 Checking loop by ISOMATRIC Drawings and match with P & ID and List out
mismatch. Leak testing and hydro-testing of new lines.
 Flushing, cleaning of new lines by means of air, water and Card board blasting,
Steam Blowing etc.
 Loop checking, ESD checking from field to DCS.
