PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
SHOT LIST
• The script in the form of animation is
decomposed into a series of lenses can be set
up, the rough on the paper is the first cut to
convert text to visual images for the unit, the
picture beside the labeling of mirror mode,
dialogue, sound, special effects, etc Painting
each lens needed time, number, etc., will be
written on the right side of the glass table.
• Points mirror table is a crucial step in
animation, he was based on human visual
characteristic, divided into the lens, the
script in the life scenes, behavior characters
and specific characters, visualization, outline
the outline the whole works, is the director of
the construction blueprint, is also a director
of animation production departments to
understand specific requirements, according
to the unified creative intentions
NOTES
1. fully embody the creative intention of the
director, creative thinking, and creative style
2. story board use must be smooth and natural.
3. the picture image must be concise and easy
to understand. (The purpose of the lens is to
make the director's basic intention, story and
image clear that there is no need for too many
details and too many details to affect the
overall understanding.)
4. The connection between story board must
clearly. (Generally, it does not indicate the
connection of the split lens. Only the serial
number changes, and the connection is the
switch. If it needs to be dissolved, the script
should be clearly marked.)
5 Dialogue, sound effects and other signs need
to be clear. (Dialogue and sound must be
clearly identified, and should be identified
under the appropriate lens picture.)
6. The position should be representative, and the position
of the expression of the scene should be expressed
clearly.
7. Draw a background picture so that the characters can
move freely in the background and mark the positions of
the roles, day or night, and the signs of specific objects in
the scene, the direction of ambient light, etc.
FILMING SCHEDULE
• The schedule will normally be done
quite a few months before you start
filming, as the organisation of the
schedule determines the budget. The
schedule becomes more concrete at
a certain point, but it typically shifts
in small areas right up to Day One
of principle photography (and then
continually evolves as the shoot
progresses, to adapt to the
requirements of the shoot). Once the
schedule is as locked as it can be, it
is then issued to all departments –
the art department, wardrobe, make
SCRIPT BREAKDOWN
• The producer usually completes a
simple script breakdown first in order
to create a preliminary shooting
schedule and budget. The 1st AD
then conducts a more comprehensive
script breakdown to create the
stripboard, scene breakdown, and
production shooting schedule.
• The DP marks the script to generate
a shot list and equipment
requirements. Other department keys
(i.e. production design) will do their
own analysis as well.
CALL SHEETS
• The daily call sheet is a
filmmaking term for the
schedule crafted by the
assistant director, using the
director's shot list. It is issued
to the cast and crew of
a film production to inform
them of where and when
they should report for a
particular day of filming.
EQUIPMENT LIST/BOOKING/INSURANCE
• Stage properties
• Shackle, broken garment, burlap
tote bag, autopsy suit, a packet of
cigarettes, one jacket, stone with
isotropic body, cups, car, small paper
box, shovel, leather over sleeve,
torches, packages, three cameras,
three lamplights and 2 recording
microphones.
• Locations
•
• Pool, mortuary, mortuary park, bar,
Nicole mountain, grave yard
CAST REQUIREMENTS STAFF
• Two guardians for escort
• One dead person
• Alan (one person)
• Francis (one person)
• Masses in the bar (four persons)
• Cameramen (3)
• Director & producer (1)
• Light props (3)
• Sound props (2)
• The number of staff needed to be insured
(18)
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE OF EQUIPMENT
• One staff in each cameraman
group will oversee video cameras.
One staff in lamplight group will
keep light units. We will buy
insurance for each prop to avoid
unnecessary loss. We will also
prepare precautionary measures
to confront emergencies.
• 1,We will contact a property
equipment company to ensure
replacement without delay.
•
• 2,We will prepare the alternative
properties.
Recce for sound, music rooms and every
single stuff which is needed to be
authorising, it’s very important checking
before shooting. Nobody is allowed to
use unauthorised content on for
business.
WHY
RECCE ?
A recce is an essential part
of the preparation and
research processes to meet
potential contributors, assess
locations and research stories
Carry out as many recces as
your budget and time will
allow as this will arm you
with information that you can
use to plan your script and
filming schedule You should
make sure risk assessments
are carried out for recce's
bearing in mind that often its
one person going out on their
own and the hazards of
driving distances and sole
working come into play.
LOCATION CONTINGENCY
• Contingency Plan Possible
Problems
1. Bad weather during shooting
Reschedule the filming to a later date. If not
possible, use a possible set or location to move
the shot completely indoors.
2. The location is not available
To view using other potential locations;
Include a new scene in a building, on the side
of the beach or in a dumped factory. In
general, the venue is required to sign a
contract for loan use, and the possibility of not
being used is not ruled out. So we need to find
other alternatives in advance.
3. The actor was injured during the performance
Prepare all first-aid equipment or medicine
kits before the crew sets out, advance
appointment of medical personnel to the
shooting site with the crew to avoid accidents at
the filming site.
4. Equipment damaged or faulty during filming
Prepare standby equipment and batteries, for
the replacement of equipmenr damage.
However, Use machines carefully during filming,
because there are steep landslides or other
factors that may be needed in some places. To
choose the best place to put the equipment,
both the location and angle of the shot should
be the best, and the safety of the equipment
should be ensured.
LOCATION AGREEMENTS
• I decided to have the ‘Clay’ treatment to be
filmed in Glasgow, Scotland. Both characters
Alan and Francis make a reference to
“terraces in Liverpool”, perhaps giving us an
insight into his back story. Glasgow is very
hilly and open in parts, just like where this
could be set.
• You need permissions to shoot anywhere
that isn’t a property you own yourself. If you
want to shoot on the tube, in a hospital, in a
club or bar etc remember to leave enough
time for your filming request to be
processed. You should keep a signed letter
of agreement from any location you film in.
• most boroughs are signed up to this online
filming application.
• If not you can get details from Film London
website of local boroughs, police contacts
etc.
• Insurance – public liability insurance covers
the production against any injury or
accident to members of the public or
damage to property. ( A University may
cover a student film but this will need to be
confirmed in writing usually) specialist
insurance brokers are listed in the
knowledge (www.theknowledgeonline.com).
POST-PRODUCTION
• As far as possible we would wish to achieve
the films
• ‘in-camera’. Minimize the number of clips,
use a large number of fixed positions, long
shots to demonstrate the story calmly. Pull the
tone down to create a gloomy visual
atmosphere
CLAY/MORGUE
Walk in the mud, taking care to
avoid swamps.
If the scene is in the forest, you
need to pay attention to mosquito
bites and dangerous plants.
Prevent cast members from
wrestling and being injured.
For the above situation, we can
prepare knee pads in advance and
look for scenes with low outdoor risk
factors, such as constructed
wetlands, and prepare drugs for
mosquito bites in advance.
In the shooting of morgues, it is best
to find vacant rooms that are idle
and not at work. Seal all medical
drugs. Under the order, all cast
members are not allowed to use
hospital equipment and touch drugs
without permission.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
• 1. In order to reduce the risk
factor, suitable quagmire should
be found instead of swamp. Wear
a knee protector for the hero to
protect him from falling during
walking. If the location is set
outdoors, a variety of emergency
medicines are prepared and anti-
mosquito supplies are already
available. 2. Get permission from
the hospital to legally use the
morgue. Protect all dangerous
medical supplies and chemicals
• 2. Get permission from the
hospital to legally use the morgue.
Protect all dangerous medical
supplies and chemicals
• 3. Find a suitable bar and obtain
permission from the bar, clear the
venue and arrange for all cast
members to enter. Pay attention
to protect all public objects in the
bar. 4. Get permission from the
cemetery to allow shooting.
Choose the right person for the
date. Take care to protect all
public facilities in the cemetery.

Other department keys (i.e. production design) will do their own analysis as well.
  • 6. CALL SHEETS • The daily call sheet is a filmmaking term for the schedule crafted by the assistant director, using the director's shot list. It is issued to the cast and crew of a film production to inform them of where and when they should report for a particular day of filming.
  • 7. EQUIPMENT LIST/BOOKING/INSURANCE • Stage properties • Shackle, broken garment, burlap tote bag, autopsy suit, a packet of cigarettes, one jacket, stone with isotropic body, cups, car, small paper box, shovel, leather over sleeve, torches, packages, three cameras, three lamplights and 2 recording microphones. • Locations • • Pool, mortuary, mortuary park, bar, Nicole mountain, grave yard

  • 10. Recce for sound, music rooms and every single stuff which is needed to be authorising, it’s very important checking before shooting. Nobody is allowed to use unauthorised content on for business. WHY RECCE ? A recce is an essential part of the preparation and research processes to meet potential contributors, assess locations and research stories Carry out as many recces as your budget and time will allow as this will arm you with information that you can use to plan your script and filming schedule You should make sure risk assessments are carried out for recce's bearing in mind that often its one person going out on their own and the hazards of driving distances and sole working come into play.
  • 11. LOCATION CONTINGENCY • Contingency Plan Possible Problems 1. Bad weather during shooting Reschedule the filming to a later date. If not possible, use a possible set or location to move the shot completely indoors. 2. The location is not available To view using other potential locations; Include a new scene in a building, on the side of the beach or in a dumped factory. In general, the venue is required to sign a contract for loan use, and the possibility of not being used is not ruled out. So we need to find other alternatives in advance. 3. The actor was injured during the performance Prepare all first-aid equipment or medicine kits before the crew sets out, advance appointment of medical personnel to the shooting site with the crew to avoid accidents at the filming site. 4. Equipment damaged or faulty during filming Prepare standby equipment and batteries, for the replacement of equipmenr damage. However, Use machines carefully during filming, because there are steep landslides or other factors that may be needed in some places. To choose the best place to put the equipment, both the location and angle of the shot should be the best, and the safety of the equipment should be ensured.
  • 12. LOCATION AGREEMENTS • I decided to have the ‘Clay’ treatment to be filmed in Glasgow, Scotland. Both characters Alan and Francis make a reference to “terraces in Liverpool”, perhaps giving us an insight into his back story. Glasgow is very hilly and open in parts, just like where this could be set. • You need permissions to shoot anywhere that isn’t a property you own yourself. If you want to shoot on the tube, in a hospital, in a club or bar etc remember to leave enough time for your filming request to be processed. You should keep a signed letter of agreement from any location you film in. • most boroughs are signed up to this online filming application. • If not you can get details from Film London website of local boroughs, police contacts etc. • Insurance – public liability insurance covers the production against any injury or accident to members of the public or damage to property. ( A University may cover a student film but this will need to be confirmed in writing usually) specialist insurance brokers are listed in the knowledge (www.theknowledgeonline.com).
  • 13. POST-PRODUCTION • As far as possible we would wish to achieve the films • ‘in-camera’. Minimize the number of clips, use a large number of fixed positions, long shots to demonstrate the story calmly. Pull the tone down to create a gloomy visual atmosphere CLAY/MORGUE Walk in the mud, taking care to avoid swamps. If the scene is in the forest, you need to pay attention to mosquito bites and dangerous plants. Prevent cast members from wrestling and being injured. For the above situation, we can prepare knee pads in advance and look for scenes with low outdoor risk factors, such as constructed wetlands, and prepare drugs for mosquito bites in advance. In the shooting of morgues, it is best to find vacant rooms that are idle and not at work. Seal all medical drugs. Under the order, all cast members are not allowed to use hospital equipment and touch drugs without permission.
  • 14. HEALTH AND SAFETY • 1. In order to reduce the risk factor, suitable quagmire should be found instead of swamp. Wear a knee protector for the hero to protect him from falling during walking. If the location is set outdoors, a variety of emergency medicines are prepared and anti- mosquito supplies are already available. 2. Get permission from the hospital to legally use the morgue. Protect all dangerous medical supplies and chemicals • 2. Get permission from the hospital to legally use the morgue. Protect all dangerous medical supplies and chemicals • 3. Find a suitable bar and obtain permission from the bar, clear the venue and arrange for all cast members to enter. Pay attention to protect all public objects in the bar. 4. Get permission from the cemetery to allow shooting. Choose the right person for the date. Take care to protect all public facilities in the cemetery.
