• The print advert must be from the same
campaign as the trailer. It must be made
clear through the same theme and same
slogan etc.
3. Colour
• The colour block behind the title and
information links to the image and is
generally found in the bottom left hand
corner.
4. Logo
• The TV company logo features on the print
advert and its position depends on the
type of channel.
5. Image
• One strong, bold central image is used.
This anchors the narrative of the
programme and sums up what it entails.
6. Text
• Words/the text are kept to a minimum to
keep the audience interested and not
bored. It grabs the audiences attention
and makes them think about the true
meaning of the print advert.
7. Slogan
• The slogan should be catchy and link to
the documentary being spoke about.
