The document discusses the evaluation of the student's documentary project. Their research was helpful during planning and production as they had more time for research this time. A strength was the documentaries watched, but a weakness was similarity of content researched. Planning turned out well although much was unhelpful due to more time spent on research than planning. The script helped with interview filming. Not enough planning in other areas caused struggles in production. Things that went well included an animated intro and comic relief from an interview. Improvements would be better audio/video transitions, effects on the final clip, and information display. Comparisons showed few similarities to researched products which had less information conveyed differently. Skills learned in Premiere Pro
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
2. Research
My research was helpful throughout the planning and production
stages of my project as this time I had put a lot more time into making
sure I had the resources to help me throughout the later stages of my
project. A strength of my research was the amount of existing
documentary's I watched helped me throughout. A weakness was the
similarity of content I researched, as I could have changed this so there
was some different product forms instead of purely researching
documentary's.
3. Planning
I am happy with how most of my planning turned out, although in the
end a lot of it was unhelpful as I had spent a lot more time on research
than I had planning. A strength of my planning was the script I wrote as
this really helped me get the filming of the interview done a lot faster
in the production stage. A weakness was the amount of planning done
in other areas as I did struggle to write about the content and audience
appeal of my documentary and struggled in that area in production as I
had less of a clear plan as to what I was doing.
4. What Went Well
• I think multiple things across my documentary went well, such as the
animation at the beginning made the intro a lot less boring to watch
as it added some extra movement.
• I also think the interview, although most of it wasn’t included in my
final version went quite well, as it broke up the documentary and
added some comic relief at the end.
5. Improvements
• I would improve the transitions on the audio and the video as they
made it feel quite clunky and slow moving in places, which is not
what I wanted to happen.
• I would improve the effects on the final clip of Jake at the end as I
think it looks quite bad in places but due to time constraints that was
as good as I could get it.
• I would also improve the way the information was displayed as it
filled quite a lot of the screen and meant you couldn’t see the video
in some places. The font I chose also made it hard to read but it did
add to the aesthetic value of my documentary
6. Comparisons
• There isn't that many similarities between my documentary and the
products I researched. Although the first version of my documentary
was similar with clips of concerts broken up with interviews, my
documentary didn’t have the interviews breaking it up and was just
information. My documentary also had a lot more information,
especially compared to The Decline Of Western Civilisation and Made
In Huddersfield. A Breif History Of Punk and The Punk Singer had
information but it wasn’t conveyed in the way I showed mine.
7. What Have I Learnt
• I have learnt a few new skills in Premiere Pro that I can use in my FMP
to hopefully get a better grade, such as how to add interesting
transitions like film burn and how to add glitch effects to people.
