I feel that in order to address and attract an
audience, it is first important to identify
who the target demographic for the
movie it. Their for I came to the
conclusion that my audience would be
both male and female, between the ages
of 15 and 25.

3. RELIABILITY
I feel that the one great way to address and
attract my target audience is to make the
main character and setting relatable. The
allows the viewer to easily put them
self's in the characters shoes. To do this
I made my main character (the female
victim) around the same age as someone
that would be viewing the film. I also set
the film in a generic house, similar to
one that a viewer may live in.

4. GENRE CONVENTIONS
I also feel that due to the fact that I clearly
stuck to generic conventions, which
gives the audience confidence in the
film. Their or in trailers and posters the
audience would see that they will be
getting what the want from the film.
