The document discusses the new media technologies used during the planning, construction, and evaluation of a music video project. During planning and research, the author used Wikipedia, YouTube, Google, Twitter, and Blogger to research genres, artists, songs, and ancillary tasks. Final Cut Pro was used to edit footage and Adobe Photoshop was used to edit photos for ancillary tasks. During evaluation, the author used a camera, Final Cut Pro, YouTube, Prezi, PowerPoint, and Survey Monkey to film feedback, edit videos, present questions visually, and conduct a survey.

samenwerkt, samen beslist, samen speelt. Kortom: samen leren!
Crowd-Sourced Intelligence Built into Search over HadoopDataWorks Summit
Search is increasingly being used to gather intelligence on multi-structured data leveraging distributed platforms such as Hadoop in the background. This session will provide details on how search engines can be abused to use not text, but mathematically derived tokens to build models that implement reflected intelligence. The session will describe how to integrate Apache Solr/Lucene with Hadoop. Then we will show how crowd-sourced search behavior can be looped back into analysis and how constantly self-correcting models can be created and deployed. Finally, we will show how these models can respond with intelligent behavior in realtime.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

Read| The latest issue of The Challenger is here! We are thrilled to announce that our school paper has qualified for the NATIONAL SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (NSPC) 2024. Thank you for your unwavering support and trust. Dive into the stories that made us stand out!
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

3. RESEARCH
• I first started my research by looking into different types of genre’s. For this I mainly
just used the internet and mainly Wikipedia for information and the codes and
conventions on all these different genres. When I chose my genre, pop, I then
mainly used Youtube to research into similar artists. I did this on the apple mac.
• Google was a main search engine I used as I needed it to research into my artist
Florrie, her songs, the lyrics for Call of the Wild, pictures of Florrie and similar
artists, images of other digipaks and magazine ads to help my with my ancillary
tasks ect.
• I used Twitter to ask Florrie if I was able to use her song for my music video. I also
used Twitter and Facebook to look into more information on my artist and to see
how she represents herself.
4. BLOGGER.COM
I put all of my research onto my blog on blogger.com. This was
a good website to use to present our work as it kept
everything organised and was easy to location information you
have already put on there.
We used the blogger all the way through from the start of
introducing new genre, to the very end of my evaluation.
Blogger was easy to import picture and videos, either from my
own files or from the internet and Youtube. I meant we were
able to show on our blog videos and pictures that have helped
us with our research.
Blogger is used like a diary, to constantly write down steps we
did and things we were thinking of doing and going to do.
5. For the construction stage, the mac was the
main thing I used. It operated all programs I
used such as the HD camera that I used to film
my whole music video. After filming we’d DURING MY
upload our film to in imac, onto Final Cut Pro.
Final Cut Pro is where I did all the editing and
CONSTRUCTION
put all of my video together. Once the OF MY MUSIC
footage was uploaded to this program, I VIDEO I USED
would then drag it into my timeline to put the TECHNOLOGIES
right footage in the right place according to
the song and then edited the footage to the
SUCH AS..
music so that everything fitted right, such as
the miming matched.
I used Adobe Photoshop for the construction on my ancillary tasks. This was
the best way to upload my photos quickly and be able to edit them and
make changes easily to produce the best digipak and magazine ad I could.
7. EVALUATION
I used the HD camera to film my audience feedback to present visual and audio
answers and I also used the camera to record my voice for audio presentation. I was
then able to upload this onto the Mac and onto Final Cut Pro. I then uploaded this to
Youtube so I was able to put the video clip onto Blogger for the questions to be
presented in a visual way.
8. EVALUATION
I used Prezi as a way to present one of my questions in a different way to my others
and it looks more interesting than just writing an answer out.
I also used Powerpoint to present another question in a visual way and to be able to
upload it onto blogger I converted it into Slideshare.
I also used survey monkey to produce a survey to send out to a group of people. It was
simple to use and you are able to produce any type of question and layout you’d like.
This made it easy for me to be able to produce all different types of questions. It was
also easy for other people to fill out and quick so I was able to receive the results I
needed quickly.
