Employment History
Executive Development Assistant
October 2007 – present
College of Pharmacy, University of Florida
• Manage donor relations such as gifts processing, donor correspondence, biographical updates to UF
central staff, donor recognition, donor commendations and special dates (birthdays, funerals, holidays,
etc…) Serves as liaison to alumni, donors and friends for the COP Office of Development. Coordinates the
processing of gift agreements, gifts/donations and pledges according to office policy for the COP.
Responsible for the preparation of any development reports needed. Coordination of the annual
endowment report packet with the Foundation, in their mailing to each endowed fund’s contact(s), which
includes a letter from the Dean of the COP, as well as grateful scholarship recipients. Management of
weekly thank you letters to donors of the COP as gifts are received. Work with the Director of
Development to identify and coordinate new methods for analyzing and identifying new prospects.
Schedule and confirm appointments and make travel arrangements for Director of Development. Handle
public interactions for the office in a professional manner. Screen any incoming phone calls for the
Director of Development in addition to delivering customer service to donors. Maintain an accurate log of
correspondence to donors/alumni for the Dean and Development Officers in the College.
• Assists the Director in managing the budget for College of Pharmacy Office of Development; to include
paying bills, invoices, account receivables, process travel reimbursements and expenses. Work with
Director to project expenditures and budget for next fiscal year in coordination with COP accounting
office. Provide administrative support to Director of Development through daily typing, transcription,
distribution and filing of written documents. Attends meetings with the Director as needed. Serves as an
extension of the Director of Development, handles office interactions independently in the director’s
absence. Prepare correspondence, acknowledgments, administrative reports and expense reports in an
accurate and timely manner. Accepts, records and responds to donations to the College in a timely
manner. Maintains an accurate log for all contributions received, including checks, credit cards, stocks and
gifts in kind and makes sure they are sent to the fiscal office of the Foundation for deposit to include any
monies collected during an event. Coordinate the reconciliation of expenditures and receipts through
PeopleSoft, UFF accounts and purchasing card. Maintain confidentiality of all information entrusted to the
position. Manages the overall daily operations of the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs under the
supervision of the Director of Development.
• Attend meetings or assist with fund-raising activities as needed. Composes scholarship recipient list,
attends all scholarship meetings in conjunction with the Associate Director of Development and manages
student/donor thank you letters. Directs and executes correspondence to donors, prospects, alumni and
corporations for the Dean of the College, Director of Development and Associate Director of
Development. Coordinates and reviews weekly gift reports and the mailing of thank you letters to donors
from appropriate person. Orders Data Requests and helps coordinate various mailings for the
Development Office. Composes Memoriam, Honor Roll Lists, and Scholarship recipient lists for the annual
GATORx magazine publications.

• Maintain Associate Deans calendar including preparation of daily and weekly folders with materials.
Arrange all state, national and international travel. Do research as requested to assist Associate Dean in
preparing for meetings. Handle confidential communications with others as delegated by Associate Dean.
Supervise activities related to undergraduate students. Serve as chief liaison between students and
Dean’s Office. Liaison between Registrar, college and department offices, including New World School of
the Arts. Process all admission paperwork on all incoming students including the New World School of
the Arts students, and graduation on all students, on-line and hard copy. Responsible for Student-Teacher
Evaluation procedures for the college. Maintain student database and enrollment management, process
Dean’s List letters each term and prepare the National Dean’s List roster once a year.
• Oversee the enforcement of university and college policies relating to student activities. Maintain and
monitor (edit and revise) SASS (Student Academic Support System, computer program) and tracking
programs and records. Process any changes necessary to the students’ SASS audit, major changes,
tracking major changes, catalog year changes, admission paperwork and online processing, student
petitions, grade appeals and reports for the departments. Prepare letters of acceptance for incoming CFA
students and New World School for the Dean’s signature. Enrollment management, keeping track of
courses offered each semester and how many student credit hours are produced for each section.
Supervise the process of instructor workloads for the college and New World School of the Arts. Serve as
the backup adviser in advising and registration for current students, preview student and evaluating
admission requirements and relaying them to students.

• Supervise activities relating to undergraduate students. Serve as chief liaison between students and
Student Services Office. Process all paperwork for admissions on incoming students and online
graduation certification. Oversee the enforcement of University and College polices relating to student
activities. Maintain and monitor SASS (Student Academic Support System) and tracking programs and
records.
• Responsible for all student folders, making sure they are up to date with current student information.
Process any changes online to students SASS audits. Processes several statistical summaries for the
various departments to include breakdown of students that are enrolled by their majors.
