The Union Government has announced a INR 400 crore project to develop waterways infrastructure with 50% subsidies for states. Seven new major ports will be built in addition to existing 12 ports. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has approved master plans to develop 50 solar cities across India. Patna is included in the AMRUT urban development project along with 26 other cities and towns in Bihar. The West Bengal government has proposed introducing inland waterways services on 12 rivers to reduce road congestion.
Scenarios S and X
The document describes two scenarios - Scenario S and Scenario X. Scenario S is the preferred alternative and focuses on creating mixed-use centers around major transportation areas like transit hubs. Continental mapping projects indot south split
Continental Mapping was engaged by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) to complete a mobile lidar and aerial mapping project of the South Split intersection in Indianapolis, Indiana. Within a week's notice, Continental Mapping mobilized its mobile lidar system and plane to collect over 15 lane miles of highway and 30 bridges to support design modifications after a bridge collision. Continental Mapping fused the mobile lidar and aerial imagery to deliver high accuracy 3D data, including 1" planimetric mapping, 1' contours, and a calibrated point cloud within 0.1' vertical accuracy to expedite the design and reconstruction process.

The FAST Plan was developed by a collaboration of community groups an an alternative to the official regional transit plan in order to apply cutting-edge principles to developing a more effective, world-class transit system for the San Diego metropolitan region.
Part IX shares the results of our detailed analysis of the costs of building and operating the FAST Plan and of potential ridership. Overall, the data suggest that the FAST Plan could close to double ridership per dollar invested, savings the region billions of dollars between now and 2050 and better accomplishing many regional goals.

Electric Vehicles in San Antonio by Harley Hubbard
The City of San Antonio has adopted a Climate Action and Adaptation Plan with goals of carbon neutrality by 2050 including a 41% reduction in emissions by 2030. The plan outlines strategies for the city to convert its vehicle fleet to more efficient electric vehicles by 2025 and encourage residents to transition to electric vehicles. The city developed a Vehicle Environmental Acquisition Policy in 2010, which it is updating to better align with climate goals and allow departments to purchase gas vehicles only when electric models cannot meet job needs. The city is conducting public outreach on electric vehicles and researching fleet charging needs and citywide electric vehicle infrastructure requirements to support adoption.

The best available, up-to-date information on all fishing and related vessels that appear on the illegal, unregulated, and unreported (IUU) fishing vessel lists published by Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and related organisations. The aim of the site is to improve the effectiveness of the original IUU lists as a tool for a wide variety of stakeholders to better understand and combat illegal fishing and broader fisheries crime.
To date, the following regional organisations maintain or share lists of vessels that have been found to carry out or support IUU fishing within their own or adjacent convention areas and/or species of competence:
Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR)
Commission for the Conservation of Southern Bluefin Tuna (CCSBT)
General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM)
Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC)
International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT)
Indian Ocean Tuna Commission (IOTC)
Northwest Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (NAFO)
North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission (NEAFC)
North Pacific Fisheries Commission (NPFC)
South East Atlantic Fisheries Organisation (SEAFO)
South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO)
Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA)
Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC)
The Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List merges all these sources into one list that provides a single reference point to identify whether a vessel is currently IUU listed. Vessels that have been IUU listed in the past and subsequently delisted (for example because of a change in ownership, or because the vessel is no longer in service) are also retained on the site, so that the site contains a full historic record of IUU listed fishing vessels.
Unlike the IUU lists published on individual RFMO websites, which may update vessel details infrequently or not at all, the Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List is kept up to date with the best available information regarding changes to vessel identity, flag state, ownership, location, and operations.

DBPA and City introduced the Neighborhood Electric Vehicle service in 2015 Service offers free rides in vehicles wrapped in advertising Council approved six-month pilot program on June 21, 2016 ◦ Directed City Manager to select vendor; research Measure R as potential funding source ◦ Service area to Sepulveda (later Pacific); north-south to city limits Vehicles stored and charged at Metlox Garage City Manager’s office selected Downtowner to be vendor; contract signed in October of 2016 Pilot program launched on Feb. 1, 2017 with six vehicles operating out of the Metlox garage with hours from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Program set to expire on July 31, 2017
- 3. Pilot Program Results Feb. 1 – June 30, 2017: • 28,040 riders • 12,467 rides • Avg. wait time of 12 minutes
- 4. Strong demand for expansion of program Downtowner proposed expanding citywide for $840,000, replace GEM carts with Chevy Bolts No reliable grant funding source for program of this magnitude Existing transportation funds (Measure R, Prop A, Prop C) allocated to transportation and public infrastructure Communities that have similar program (Civic San Diego, Aspen, Marina Del Rey) support with parking meter revenue OR from hospitality
- 5. • Staff Recommendation: Adopt Resolution 17-0105 to extend the term of pilot program for one year • Direct City Manager to amend agreement to allow for alcohol advertising and prepare guidelines • Consider directing staff to generate RFP for city-wide ride-hailing service
