This document discusses valve terminals and function integration using Festo's CPX-MPA terminal. It describes how the terminal can be used to control pneumatic valves and proportional pressure regulation valves. The terminal connects to a Phoenix PLC over Profinet and integrates valve control functions to allow for centralized diagnostics, reduced components, and easy maintenance.
