Folkuniversitetet in Sweden is developing a new methodology for improving curricula in vocational education and training (VET) as part of an EU-funded project. The methodology will help identify gaps in curricula based on modules being developed for eight key competences from the European Reference Framework. The modules will define the knowledge, skills, and attitudes learners need to acquire through continuous VET. Feedback from VET teachers, organizations, learners, employers and authorities will help ensure the methodology is relevant and sustainable. The ultimate goal is for the methodology to be widely used across Europe to help VET students succeed in a changing job market.
