3. PROJECT GOALS
Supporting teachers' professional development to stimulate innovation
and ICT implementation to enhance the quality of teaching and learning;
Enhancing teachers' qualifications and applying European experience;
Promoting language learning and acquiring skills for communication in a
new foreign language - Spanish and improving communication skills in
English;
Raising participants' awareness of other cultures and countries and
creating networks of international contacts;
Increasing the mobility of the individual users and forming a striving for
permanent professional development and improvement;
Improving the authority and self-confidence of the teacher.
4. PROJECT RESULTS
Acquired teachers’ qualification for the implementation of ICT in the
learning process;
Improved quality of teaching and learning through the use of ICT and
European experience in the field of education;
Acquired initial language skills for communication in Spanish;
Improved communication skills in English;
Acquired social skills for adaptation in intercultural environment;
Acquired knowledge about culture, traditions and educational system in
Spain;
Increased motivation for participation in future (formal/informal)
education or training after the end of mobility abroad.
Increased authority and self-confidence of the teachers.
5. TARGET GROUP
The project "eLearning - a new approach for
teaching and learning" aims to increase the
professional qualification of 6 teachers of general
and vocational education from the high school
through their participation in the mobility.
6. Partner organization
•ESMOVIA - partner organization from Valencia, Spain.
•The main task of the partner is to organize the management of
European mobility projects.
•ESMOVIA accepts trainees, workers, pupils and teachers coming
from all over Europe and provides qualified work places and
vocational education programs in different professional fields. It
also organizes professional visits, seminars and socio-cultural
programs. The organization is specialized at providing internships,
trainings, educational programs and study visits for young people
and adults coming from all over Europe.
•ESMOVIA is a founder and partner of the ETN Network, which has
companies in Italy, Great Britain, Bulgaria and Germany, all of
them are specialized in the management of European training
programs.
7. Language, thematic, intercultural and
psychological training
After the rankings of the applicants for participation in the
mobility, 10 participants were selected to complete
preliminary psychological, language, thematic and
intercultural training.
The preliminary trainings that were included, are:
Language Preparation (Spanish) - 90 hours;
Thematic preparation - 20 hours;
Language preparation (English) - 20 hours;
Intercultural training;
Psychological preparation - 10 hours.
8. Preparation in Spanish
Teachers studied Spanish, level A1 according to the CEFR- development
of communication skills. The preparation was carried out by the Center
for professional education at D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics
Svishtov. The aim of the course was to form communicative habits and
skills necessary for daily and professional communication. The cource
finished with a test and a certificate for successful language training. It
was held from December 2016 to April 2017.
10. Thematic preparation - Information and
communication technologies
In June 2017 at the Center for professional education at D. A. Tsenov
Academy of Economics Svishtov teachers passed an ICT course with
lector Maria Tashkova - chief assistant doctor in the Academy.
The practical course was focused on the refreshing of knowledge and
expanding computer skills of teachers to work with the latest versions of
Windows operating system, and most used Internet browsers and
applications.
11. Thematic preparation - Information and
communication technologies
The purpose of the course was to prepare the participants how to use
different computer programs and applications. Preparation completed
with a test and a certificate for the passed training.
Thematic preparation was also carried out with the help of the
eTwinning platform. The participants were acquainted with the
capabilities of the ICT tools included in the work program.
12. Certificates
On June 23, 2017, at the Center for professional education at D. A.
Tsenov Academy of Economics Svishtov, professor doctor Hristo Sirashki -
Director of the Center solemnly handed the certificates to the teachers,
who passed successfully the Spanish language course and the course for
upgraded digital competences.
13. Preparation in English
In May 2017, an English preparation of the 10 project users was
carried out.
Teachers of the target group were taught by their colleagues Mrs.
Tsvetelina Petkova, Mrs. Elenka Nikolaeva and Mrs. Daniela
Minzileva on topics related to IT, computer systems, websites,
databases, network systems and Internet security and safety.
14. Preparation in English
The aim of the training was to improve the communicative skills
necessary for professional communication.
15. Psychological preparation
In June 2017, Mrs. Diana Donevska held the psychological training of the
teachers.
It lasted for 20 hours, during which the participants in the mobility met
the geographical location, historical and cultural sights, traditions and
lifestyle, cultural stereotypes, regional differences and basic laws of
Spain.
16. Intercultural preparation
On 29 and 30 June 2017, the intercultural training of
teachers was held.
The aim was to acquaint with history, geography,
economics and culture of Spain.

At the end of the training, teachers made a presentation
about the country they will visit - Spain and the beautiful
Mediterranean city of Valencia.

ESMOVA offers a wide range of services to enhance professional
competencies consistent with the constantly changing work environment
and innovative approaches for lifelong learning.
23. Activities during the mobility
The training, organized by our partner EMOVIA took the form of a
structured course. It was held in the office of the organization in
Valencia. Participants learned about the use of i-pad in the classroom
and ICT tools for teaching and learning. The training was under the
guidance of trainers familiar with the specifics of the used software
and applications who responded to any questions and helped when
there were difficulties. This has made learning effective and useful.

online homework assignments, keep feedback with both students and
parents.
2. THINGLINK E-platform for creating interactive imagery and videos enhanced with
extra notes, photos, audio, video and other rich multimedia content.

3. VUVOX Web 2.0 tool for creating interactive collages and slide show
presentations online.
4. GROCKIT Online social learning company. Prepares students for SAT, ACT, GMAT,
LSAT and GRE standardized tests. Offers interactive games with others
by providing faster and more effective learning by applying the peer-to-
peer method instead of traditional learning methods. Students can
conduct practical tests while collaborating online with other
candidates.
26. 5. WORDLE A very attractive tool for generating "word clouds" to analyze a
(large) textual information in order to stimulate students' creative
thinking, to develop knowledge and skills in different learning
disciplines.

6. MOSAIZER With the installed application, a digital photo mosaic is created at an
incredibly high speed.

8. UDEMY An online learning and teaching platform with over 55,000 online
training courses for various professional fields. Courses are taught by
professional experts and presented in categories.

The iPad has a number of unique features that provide for
interesting possibilities in teaching and learning. The iPad in
the classroom brings education to life. Interactive technology
makes learning more engaging and memorable. Tools such as
audio and video recorders can change the way that learning
takes place and homework is completed.

On September 29, teachers visited a vocational school which uses
ICT in education.
They were warmly welcomed by the principal of the State-Private
School and teachers.

35. Especially valuable for teachers was the familiarization
with culture, traditions, lifestyle and work in Spain, as
well as adaptation in an intercultural environment.
Teachers visited the Oceanographic Museum and the
Museum of Science and Arts. The traditional Valencia
tour was with a representative of the partner
organization, who told them a lot about the visited
places.

mobility
40. Promotion of project activities
After the end of the mobility and final report, the e-platform
eTwinning was used as a place to promote project activities -
photos were uploaded, links to presentations made during pre-
training by users were published, local TV coverage of the
project and reports for both students and teachers. The
opportunities of the platform will be used to broaden contacts
with other schools, exchange experience and good practices and
search for new partnerships in general and vocational
education.
