AN INTERCULTURAL APPROACH
TO LEARNING FOREIGN AND
SECOND LANGUAGES IN

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
- Objective: The main focus is on age management and identification of tools and methods aimed at extending the
activity period of people aged 50+.
- Target group: both employed and unemployed persons 50+

- Objective: The project is focused on transnational transfer of innovations in the field of promotion and
implementation of flexible working time arrangements. Within this project new training modules will be developed.
Besides new practical tools will be created to help and encourage employers to implement FWA into practice.
- Target group: persons caring for a dependent family member, employers
- Objective: The aim of the multilateral project was to develop the most interesting methods that positively increase
learning impact and motivation of adult learners and to implement them into the course that is included in
Comenius-Grundtvig database.
- Target group: adult learners, teachers and trainers
- Objective: This project searched for cultural similarities through differences and the utilisation of cultural
components in the teaching of languages as a way of uniting people and learning the language without forgetting
the cultural dimension.

- Objective: The aim of this project was to study and exchange the best teaching methods of the European Language
Portfolio in different EU countries

- This one week workshop was designed for interested adults from countries participating in the LLP program, who
would like to improve their communication in foreign languages via self-learning with the use of modern
technologies.
- This one-week course offered the best of the ILMAE multilateral project. It´s aimed at teachers, trainers and adult
learners willing to know more about effective learning methods.
- Every year we organise together with the Skoda-Auto-University intensive Czech language courses for foreign
students.

- Objective: This project is aimed at improving the quality of teaching English at primary schools. Within this project are organised
training seminars for teachers and created new innovative teaching and learning materials. These materials are used by teachers in
their classroom and pupil´s progress is regularly tested and evaluated. The project involves more than 40 teachers and 1200 pupils.

- Objective: The main aim of this project is to show teachers how different ICT tools can be integrated and used in a classroom and
be benefitial for both students and teachers. Within this project are organised seminars and workshops for primary and secondary

- Objective: This project offered more than 500 women either on maternity leave or searching for a job a new opportunity to
increase their IT competences, sof skills and foreign language knowledge. An integral part of this project was childcare during
course running.
