This document discusses how extroversion and introversion may affect second language acquisition. There are two main hypotheses presented: (1) that extroverts' sociability leads to more opportunities to practice and communicate in the second language, aiding their skills, and (2) introverts' preference for focusing internally helps their cognitive academic abilities and success. The conclusion is that both extroverted and introverted learners can achieve in second language acquisition as long as teachers address the needs of both personality types.
