This study examines the relationship between emotional intelligence and academic performance in English, science, and mathematics of intermediate pupils in Patiis Elementary School. It analyzes pupils' profiles, emotional intelligence levels, and academic performance. Statistical tools like frequency distribution, percentage scores, mean, and correlation will be used to determine if a significant relationship exists between emotional intelligence and academic performance in these subjects. The study aims to provide insight on factors affecting pupils' learning.

9. Statistical Treatment
The following statistical tools will be used to answer the
problems set forth in this study:
• To facilitate easy computation, gathered data were coded
specifically the demographic profile into the data matrix. For the
demographic profile the frequency distribution and percentage
score were used.
• To describe the students’ level of academic performance as
well as their level of EQ in terms of the components percentage
and mean computation were carried out.
• Lastly, the PearsonProduct Coeffficient of Correlation,
Coefficient of Determination, t-test relationship were employed to
determine the EQ and Academic performance of intermediate
pupils of ENSCIMA in PES.
