Editor's Notes

  • #5 Certified Success is an e-business venture that is directed at circulating intellectual property such as white papers, study guides, and books, with a particular emphasis on APICS and ASQ materials CS will add value to the purchasing experience by offering interactive community building tools such as forums, job postings, and feedback mechanisms CS, while appearing similar to other IP services, will utilize its sales data and connections to obtain consulting and training contracts, to be done by Mike Pinch, experienced consultant and president of Sizzling Solutions CS will leverage its ability to tap free and inexpensive work by RIT students. As a result, it will be extremely low maintenance While CS will be profitable based on IP sales alone, the profit brought in by the consulting business will be the great profit driver In essence, CS’s website and IP sales will be used as an informational tool to drive its consulting practice
  • #13 Close to RIT Campus Inexpensive ($1.00/sqfoot/month) Fees include perks such as business strategy consulting and 1 free co-op paid for by RIT annually ($4500 value) Offers free access to large conference rooms that can be used for training and conferences Discounted Hardware
  • #14 Once CS has met these milestones, it will explore the option of expanding offices to other technology and collegiate rich markets. It will follow a similar business model Building a network of CS’s, will allow for even greater networking capabilities, thus higher profits!
