-We are a team of part-time hobbyists and full-time consultants united by the love for
bookkeeping & business.
Vinod Gupta (Founder & CEO)
Vinod is a CA (CPA eq.) with 15+ years of experience in helping 200+
MSMEs in areas of tax advisory, audit support, corporate finance and
accounting.
Rashmi Gupta (Principal Manager)
Rashmi is also a CA (CPA eq.) with over 4 years of experience in audit
and compliance of listed companies including banking and insurance
firms.
Bindu Gupta (Director)
Bindu is CA finalist with 8+ years of experience in Global Accounting.
She heads the reporting team here and is a certified QuickBooks Gold
Pro Advisor.

A boat tourism company in
Thailand
Challenge faced: Project profitability
report was based on cost of fuel consumption
per trip. Entire fuel was not spent on one trip
and required amortization among other ones
Solution provided: We provided an excel
template and a form which automated the
entire profitability report on inputting client
name, purchases, rates and consumption
amount
Case Study 1

A construction company in
Australia
Challenge faced: The company’s staff work
at different sites which have their own traits.
Say some sites require provision of materials
by our client while others provide on their
own. Some bill by the hour, others by tasks
completed
Solution provided: We created a process
document which recorded individual traits of
each client. In the end, the document was so
aggregated that it was appreciated and is
currently in use by our client as well

An US based educational
games company
Challenge faced: Combined sales data
from sites like Amazon, Shopify, PayPal etc.
was not uniform and was difficult to sort and
process due to varying payout periods and
prices (say ad-hoc discounts).
Solution provided: We created a excel
template which automatically standardized
item names, codes and date & number
formats. The process which earlier
demanded over two hours is now reduced to
less than 40 minutes

Canadian theme creator for
online Shopify stores
Challenge faced: Recently our client wholly
acquired another online application and as
such had to reflect the transaction and merge
the two books
Solution provided: We reconstructed the
balance sheet to include measurement of
acquired tangible assets and liabilities at fair
value, consideration amount paid to the seller
and account for intangibles like goodwill etc.

A marketing & branding
firm in New Zealand
Challenge faced: Applicability of GST
across different items was difficult owing to
non-availability of bills for unclassified
foreign and domestic vendors
Solution provided: We perform Google
searches to identify the nationality of the
buyer and apply respective GST rates. A
current template is also in-progress to
automate GST rates according to country
codes.

A Financial Advisory firm in
Singapore
Challenge faced: Our client derives fee
based work in return for deal advisory
services. On successful outcomes of certain
deals they receive an add-on % commission
which has to be often reconciled at a later date
Solution provided: We established a
reporting process wherein fee from deal
completions were timely recorded and
integrated into final accounts
