INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PARK.
In IT Parks a high level of building services is often considered essential,
together with building designs which can be adapted for a variety of uses
relatively easy. Flexible space is required to meet the needs of production,
distribution, sales and services and office operations. Soft landscaping,
sometimes to a high standard, is often provided, along with related
facilities such as quality catering and health clubs.
INTRODUCTION
BENEFITS
 To be able to concentrate dedicated infrastructure in a delimited area
to reduce the per business expense of that infrastructure include
roadways, railroads siding, port, high-power electric supplies, & high
volume gas Lines.
 To be able to attract new business by providing an integrated
infrastructure in location.
 To provide for localized environment controls that’s are specific to the
needs of an IT Area.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN INDIA
 The Information Technology industry in India is growing at a rapid rate.
Software has been the fastest growing sector of the INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY (IT) industry. The abundant availability of cheap & skilled
programmers has been the major contribution to the growth of software
industry in India. The software industry alone generated more than $600
million, most of it in export crossed the $ 1 billion mark in the financial year of
9798.
 The success of the software exports & its Potential as a foreign exchange
earner has spurred The Indian Government to come out with policies &
initiative to aid the IT industry.
 The government is now setting up Software Technology Park with private
participation with the aim of attracting more investment in the IT Industry both
from foreign & domestic players. These schemes also aim to eliminate
infrastructure problem by developing the park as self-sustained townships.

SUN-TEMPLE, MODHERA
MEASURE DRAWING
INTRODUCTION
 The Sun Temple, Modhera, at Modhera in Gujarat, is a
temple dedicated to the Hindu Sun-God, Surya.
 It is situated on the bank of the river Pushpavati, 25 km
from Mehsan and 102 km from Ahmedabad.
 It was built in 1026 AD by King Bhimdev of the
Solanki dynasty.
 In the present times, prayers are not offered in this
temple.
 This temple is now under the supervision of
Archaeological Survey of India
 The temple was so designed that the first rays of the
sun fell on the image of Surya, the Sun God, at the
time equinoxes.
 The temple is partially in ruins after it was also finally
destroyed by the Allauddin Khilji.
 However, enough has remained of the temple to
convey its grandeur.
