I think a bold header is 
the important in the role 
of catching an audiences 
eye. I t needs to stand 
out above other choices. 
I need to use 
sophisticated yet 
friendly-looking fonts to 
suit yet lure the older 
audience. 
I like the idea of using 
nature related 
backgrounds to create 
a warm feel to the 
magazine. 
Also the colours 
incorporated in these 
photos are important. 
I like bright yet 
complimentary. 
I think its important that 
subheadings are bright and 
also fill a fair amount of the 
cover without intruding the 
main cover image too much.
Using articles aimed at or about people 
of a similar age or status than the 
audience will draw their attention more 
because they can relate. 
I think using colour within 
the text is a clever way to 
grab and keep attention. 
The more attractive it looks 
the more intriguing it is. 
Alliteration and puns 
will be a great way to 
title an article because 
it makes it seem more 
friendly and therefore 
more readable. 
Using links to social networks 
make the middle aged target 
audience feel modernised and 
this appeals to them because 
its almost complimentary. 
Choosing the correct, 
relevant images will 
be key when selling an 
article.
I think bright colours are good for 
a billboard advertisement 
because it makes the 
advertisement more attractive. 
Using a witty phrase 
or a well known slogan 
will be essential on a 
billboard in order to 
be a successful 
advertisement. 
I will use contrasting 
lettering to catch the eyes 
of my target audience 
when they least expect.
I will adopt the technique of 
using the same font used in the 
webpage as the magazine cover 
itself as it is a great way to keep 
consistency in my work and 
create professionalism.

approach is effective, I think two or three 
colours will look more sophisticated 
considering the age of the target audience.

I think using colour within the text is a clever way to grab and keep attention. The more attractive it looks the more intriguing it is. Alliteration and puns will be a great way to title an article because it makes it seem more friendly and therefore more readable. Using links to social networks make the middle aged target audience feel modernised and this appeals to them because its almost complimentary. Choosing the correct, relevant images will be key when selling an article.
  • 4. I think bright colours are good for a billboard advertisement because it makes the advertisement more attractive. Using a witty phrase or a well known slogan will be essential on a billboard in order to be a successful advertisement. I will use contrasting lettering to catch the eyes of my target audience when they least expect.
  • 5. I will adopt the technique of using the same font used in the webpage as the magazine cover itself as it is a great way to keep consistency in my work and create professionalism. Adding interactive parts to a website such as a membership will be a good idea to make the reader think they’re getting something out of buying my magazine. On my own web pages I will stick to a simplistic colour theme because although this approach is effective, I think two or three colours will look more sophisticated considering the age of the target audience.
