strengthen by the robust sales of pink salt for de-
icing in US and Canada.
• Pink salt is only found Pakistan.Himalayan salt is
rock salt (halite) mined from the Punjab region of
modern Pakistan. The salt often has a pinkish tint
due to mineral impurities.

• The global rock salt market is mainly driven by
chemical industry for obtaining chlorine because it is
used in multiple applications such as pulp and paper
industry as it utilizes large amount of chlorine for
bleaching of soda.
• Textile and tanning industries need chlorine in brine
to heal and soften the tissues.
• Another factor growing the demand for rock salt is
the food industry for using rock salt as flavoring of
cereals, snacks, meats and more.
• It is widely used in medication as it possesses many

• 1. Increase sales of pink salt by directly delivering it to the
bulk consumers without involving middlemen.
• 2.Expand the market coverage by exporting processed pink
salt in relative cheaper price as compared to the rivals.
• 3.Create a unique image in the minds of the people by
directly selling from origin of pink salt Pakistan, ensuring
sanctity and heritage.
Marketing sub-plan
• Our target customers are big manufacturing
companies who are ready to buy tons of processed
pink salt.
• There is no real competition to our company as
Pakistan is the sole country were pink salts are
found. Since there no other company established to
process the pink salt we a sole autonomy in the
market.
• We would be using more effective mode of
extraction of pink salt by using advanced latest
technology and equipments.
Market entry strategy
• 1. Joint venture- partner with a domestic company
so that we can easily penetrate into the market and
export to foreign market.
• 2. Licensing agreement- we would sign contracts
with existing companies, that would allow us to
manufacture and sell companies product this would
give us a quick entry to market.
• 3.Purchasing foreign assets – Rather than launching
an entirely new venture in a foreign market , simply
purchase or invest in a foreign company that is

competitive edge over our rival companies.

• We already purchased lands for setting up factory and
headquarters.

expansion and addition of locations.
