The Letter Of The Hebrews
The Letter to the Hebrews was clearly written in regards to a specific group of Christians who were
under some type of dilemma in regards to their religion (Rayburn 1490). Most everything else about
this letter though is unclear. The true author of the letter, audience, and location of this audience all
remain uncertain to this day. The letter has been attributed to the apostle Paul, however early scholars
still cannot be sure if he was the true author. They actually believe that it is more likely that he is not
the author. Even though Paul has been credited with writing this letter, there are many reason why
scholars think that this appears to be more and more unlikely. For one, all of Paul s other letters
indicate that he wrote them. It is not a characteristic of him to keep his letters anonymous. Another
indication that scholars have examined is that the overall style of writing and content in this letter is
much different than in any of the others. In addition, Hebrews 2:3 seems extremely unlikely to be able
to connect up with Galatians 1:12 in the sense of where the messages were first received (Rayburn
1490). Hebrews 13:23 reference to Timothy gives us insight that he was a friend of both the writer and
the readers, which can limit the author to someone who was a member of Paul s circle. A biblical
scholar by the name of Origen once stated, Who it was that really wrote the Epistle [Hebrews], God
only knows (Dockery 749). Because of this, the author of Hebrews and

President Of The Executive Branch And The President Essay
Founded on the premise of a Republican Democracy where the three branches of government, elected
by the people to which it governs, are held accountable to one another by one another, the expansion
of the powers of the Executive Branch and the President is a troubling matter as it at times encroaches
on the freedoms and liberties so granted to us as citizens of the country and the earth. This increasing
of the powers of the President has ultimately made the President the most dominant force in politics in
regards to foreign policy, but the role, or rather, the lack thereof from Congress in regards to foreign
policy, has also lead to such an imbalance of power in terms of foreign policy. Because of those two
reasons, I think that Congress should reaffirm and reassert their constitutional authorities on the
matters of foreign policy, so that the President can be once again put in check. The President of the
United States has the most control over foreign policy for several reasons, but primarily I will focus
on two of them. First, of the powers prescribed to the President in the Constitution, some of the more
powerful ones include their roles as the Commander in Chief of the military at large and as the Chief
Diplomat of the United States. These two powers are pertinent to any foreign matters as the President
is given the authority to, in essence, act as the leader of the country to all other countries whom he or
she may talk to during negotiations or other matters. As the

The Fall Of The House Of Usher Effect
Edgar Allan Poe once said that the artistry of narratives is in the ability to achieve a unity of effect
(Clement, lecture notes). In his narrative The Fall of the House of Usher, a man gets a letter from an
old friend who wants him to go to his family estate because he is sick. When he arrives, he notices that
his friend and his sister are not the only ones affected by illness. It is obvious that the house is too. The
illness leads to the death of the Ushers and also the destruction of the house. In The Fall of the House
of Usher, Poe makes death and decay, as well as overall illness, his unity of effect. He creates this
effect by using the different features of narratives. He establishes this effect through his narrator, the
setting of the story, and the events that affect the characters. In this short narrative, there are many
textual examples that enforce the effect of death, decay, and illness. In the succeeding paragraphs, I
will be analyzing the style, setting, narrator, characters, and conflict of this ... Show more content on

In the early time periods where oral narratives were the only form of story, narratives existed to teach
a lesson or to illustrate a moral. In the medieval period, narratives were for entertainment. It wasn t
until the nineteenth century that tales became about truth. Narratives like The Fall of the House of
Usher aren t about teaching or entertaining. These narratives are about the message or experience that
is being created through writing. They are about presenting readers with an effect that is made to be
felt and thought about. In The Fall of the House of Usher readers are left with the feeling of death,
decay, and illness because of Poe s use of language, story world, narrator, characters, and conflict.
Edgar Allan Poe did an effective job of using his writing to portray the effect he wanted to deliver to
everyone who read his

Point of View Essay
Each individual short story has its own point of view and voice. Within short stories there are different
types of narrative and also different types of irony being used. Each individual author has their own
way of telling a story; also they have a certain way to portray their story to an audience. For two
specific short stories Everything That Rises Must Converge and Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter we can
analyze to see what point of view and voice is being used. Everything That Rises Must Converge is a
story that takes place in the 1960 s. A recent college graduate, Julian who escorts his mother to her
weekly weight loss class at the YMCA. His mother attends these classes to reduce her high blood
pressure. He escorts her there every week ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is not evident who is actually telling the story and its events. The story is not told in past tense
which would imply that Julian was the one in fact telling the story. For Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter this
is also told form a third person point of view. We can see that the story is not being told by any of the
characters, and it shows the emotions and actions of everyone in the story. The narrative persona for
this story is more close to Mrs. Dutta then other characters as the story mainly revolves around how
Mrs. Dutta is feeling and her actions. The narrative persona shows a glimpse of the other characters
emotions while focusing on Mrs. Dutta. Mrs. Dutta, who had never, through forty two years of
marriage, addressed Sagar s father by name tried not to wince. (Borroway)Both stories are similar by
the fact that they have the same type of narrative persona. In other stories such as What You Pawn I
Will Redeem this is coming from a first person narrative. The story is being told by the main character
and he knows little about the other emotions felt by other characters. For Everything That Rises Must
Converge and Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter the distance would seem to be closer as the reader knows
each of the characters feelings and their emotions. Secondly, we can review of the types of irony that
is being used for each story. Every story has its individual way of conveying a message to its readers.
Irony is

Walla Street Art
In the article, Public Art and Street Art, by Patrick Frank, the author, talks about the idea and meaning
behind public art. Public art can be found in places accessible to everyone, you may encounter this
type of art without intending to. The idea originated in ancient times as artist were commissioned by
government and religious leader to create work for public places that respond to the needs and hopes
of people. The Vietnam Veteran Memorial is located on the Mall in Washington D.C., one of America

Chloe Moore s The Sound Of Music
Thinking she would be assigned the role of a nun freshmen Chloe Moore found herself shocked as a
freshman to get the lead role of Mariah in the spring play The Sound of Music. Moore was in show
choir the morning the roles were posted. When she walked out a guy she had never seen before told
her to go look at the casting for the musical, and that she would be happy with it. While Moore was
checking the list over and over she called her dad to share the news. I saw my name and I was like

She also loved the behind the scenes moments. She loved trying on costumes and just talking behind
stage. This really helped her meet new people and develop new friendships. It s quite interesting
seeing so many people, I ve become more open minded to what everyone has to bring to the table,
Moore said. Also trying on costumes is fun because most of the time they re too big. While Moore
worked on the musical she had some regrets. She wishes she would ve done more memorization at the
beginning so she could have focused on the character more, but she got it all caught up.Moore was
satisfied with her work and would not change anything else. They have started including tech and

Analysis Of Sakichi Toyoda, One Of The Fathers Of Japanese...
5 Why Sakichi Toyoda, one of the fathers of the Japanese industrial revolution, developed this
technique in the 1930s. He was an industrialist, inventor and founder of Toyota industries. His
technique became popular in the 1970s and Toyota still uses it to solve problems today. Toyota has a
go and see philosophy which means that its decision making is based upon an in depth understanding
of the processes and conditions on the shop floor, rather than reflecting what someone in a boardroom
thinks might be happening. 5 Whys methodology can help identify the root cause of a problem,
determine the relationship between different root causes of a problem and it is one of the simplest
tools which is easy to complete without statistical analysis. It is mainly beneficial when the problems
involve human factors or interactions. Also in day to day business life; this tool can be used within or
without a Six Sigma project. The first step to proceed with the 5 Why methodology is to write down
the specific problem; as writing helps to formalize the problem and describe it completely. Next step is
to ask why the problem happens or occurs and then write down the answers below the problem.
Follow the first step till the provided answer identifies the root cause of the problem. Keep on
repeating the procedure until the team agrees that the problem s root cause is identified. The 5 Whys

Core Values Of Civil Rights
From the 1930s to the 1960s, many events, such as World War II, the Cold War, and the Civil Rights
Movement took place. During World War II, Japanese Americans were wrongfully interned, African
Americans were discriminated against in the military and the workforce, and American citizens were
lied to about the Manhattan Project. Within the Cold War, as well as the Post World War II era, The Un
american Activities Committee was formed, women were discriminated against in the workforce, and
African Americans faced racism from those who dealt with the GI Bill of Rights. From the 1950s to
the 1960s, during the Civil Rights Movement, Emmett Till s murderers and the Ku Klux Klan
members who bombed a church were not found guilty, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote his
Letter from Birmingham Jail . These events did not show the core values that the United States does
not always adhere and promote the democratic values of liberty, equality, and justice upon which it
was founded in a moral, political, and social standpoint.
Liberty is one of the democratic values that the United States was founded upon. Liberty is defined as
being free and having rights, such as the rights of citizenship, which is amendment fourteen. These
rights and liberty were taken away from American citizens during World War II. During this time,
Japanese Americans were wrongfully interned. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the United States
became very paranoid. It was believed that Japanese Americans

Positive Change In Food Waste Levels
Over the course of the last 47 years our level of wasted food has increased by 40% meaning that we
throw away one third of our food. This problem is also more devastating than most people realize. We
waste billions of dollars of food and the amount of food that just the united states wastes in one year
could fill 730 football stadiums. This food waste also is hurting the environment in a major way,
increasing our CO2 levels exponentially. All of this food that we waste could be going to serving the
homeless and starving. The best way to start to make positive change in food waste levels is to begin
to recognize the problem, spread awareness for the environmental damage it does, and to start to
implement policies that give small businesses ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Even if people understood that food would still not get to people who need it because getting the food
to the hungry and to shelters and the poor is not cheap for the suppliers and is actually cheaper for
them to just throw it away. That might be the biggest issue of all because for businesses to donate food
is very expensive, they have to box it, store it, coordinate delivery dates, and there s a lot of
overheads, and you cannot blame most companies for trying to make ends meat. Companies are also
not charities, which is why companies should be incentivized to donate food with tax breaks, large
corporations already get one, charity s get them and it would increase the amount of food that s being
donated exponentially. Especially for small companies because annoyingly small companies tax
breaks are not a permanent part of the tax code. This means that Congress has to keep renewing it
which is a problem, because family farms and local restaurants may not know if they re going to get
that break and the end of the year. So donating food might not be financially viable for them. IT s a
ridiculous system that prevents a lot of food from being donated. It s a widely agreed upon statement
that small businesses should receive tax incentives to donate food. Once we do this it will be just one
small piece of stopping this problem, and the

Role Of Political Parties
The Role of Political Parties
Within the American pluralist system, parties have long maintained an important role in politics. The
goal and function of every party is to elect candidates of their label into public office. Most of their
actions revolve around this goal. It may even be said that they are responsible for movement in the
American government. Everything from informing the public, to funding election campaigns, to
developing policies plays a role in gaining more control in elected branches of government
(Functions). The two major parties dominate Congress, the presidency, state legislatures, and
governorships; it has been able to do so due to less strict policy and ability to adapt (Role).

It is the Legislative branches responsibility to, amongst other things, regulate and make laws
(Branches). The Obama Administration would like to see Congress pass gun safety legislation, such as
expanding background checks and making gun trafficking a federal crime. However, a small group in
the Senate kept this legislation from passing (Progress). The Administration is eager to enforce gun
control, while Congress seems hesitant to make laws in that regard. Without action on Congress s part,
significant changes in regard to gun control are nearly impossible. Despite the fact that the Executive
branch is taking an active part in gun control, the reality is that many are displeased with Obama s
lack of effective action. Congress failed to pass stricter background checks for purchasing guns and
discussions of the previously mentioned federal ban on assault weapons proved fruitless. Because of
this, the Executive Branch appears politically helpless, perhaps even powerless in regard to the issue
of gun control

Stereotypes And Perceptions Of Military Personnel
For many years a great deal of men and women have bravely fought to protect their country, yet those
who have served are often misunderstood. People s perception of military personnel has been mislead
by different experiences they have with them, which is why people have different views on different
people. Stereotypes and misconceptions are used by people to talk about or describe others based on
the limited knowledge they have on the group of people. Stereotypes are a widely believed mental
picture of a group that are based on truth, but are usually exaggerated. This leads someone to infer that
a person has characteristics and abilities just as the rest of the group he or she is associated with has.
Misconceptions are formed from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Stereotypes and misconceptions can be learned by anyone at any time since there are many sources to
get them from and as long as people are not properly informed about a group stereotypes and
misconceptions will always be out there. Stereotypes are often made by the media and other groups in
order to make society believe what they believe or what they want others to believe which may lead to
the negative way a person thinks about others. These stereotypes and misconceptions can be seen
when news stations talk about military, politics, celebrities, and other subjects. The news can portray
them as bad or good people but it all depends on what benefits them or others. This is why people
have different views on certain groups of people, since some people hear different things than others
there is always different stereotypes or misconceptions regarding another group of people. Stereotypes
and misconceptions of a group from others who know little leads to the bad or good reputation formed
by the misleading statements. For example, movies and documentaries such as 13 Hours and
American Sniper portray Navy Seals as tall and really muscular men. The main characters are almost
always the biggest men and most of them have fully grown beards. In most of the movies these guys
in most cases are the heroes. They do the impossible and win in the most improbable situation, which
is probably why people see Navy Seals as the most lethal men in the Navy. Most people believe that

James Bushy
On October 28, 1835, James Bushy who was appointed to be a British Resident by the Crown and
chiefs from Northland singed a Declaration of Independence in Waitangi. According to Walker(1990),
the initial motivation of Declaration was that a trade ship of Aotearoa/New Zealand was impounded in
Sydney because of not flying a flag. The King of England was petitioned to provide protection from
foreign invasion by 13 leading chiefs from North. After that, Bushy and other 34 chiefs signed the
Declaration of Independence (p.88). There were four parts to the Declaration of Independence. The
first clause is that the chiefs announced to be an Independent State under the United Tribes of
Aotearoa/New Zealand. The second clause is that all sovereign power and authority belong to the
hereditary chiefs and heads of tribes. The third clause is that the hereditary chiefs and heads of tribes
consent to meet in Congress at Waitangi annual. The fourth clause is that they also consent to send a
copy of the Declaration to the King of England to show their gratitude.
Walker(1990) pointed out that Busby and Henry Williams equated the word mana with sovereignty
and power in the translation of the Declaration. After five years, it became to an important point under
the Treaty of Waitangi. In, 1836, tribal fighting resumed.Between 1838 and 1839, there were that 2000

Plain Capitalism Vs Democratic Capitalism
Capitalism is an omnipresent system that has taken on many unique and defined forms throughout its
existence. While capitalism comes in a variety of disguises, one thing about capitalism has always
remained the same the nature of its selfish being. Capitalism thrives on hard work. Individuals that
work hard will undoubtedly be rewarded. On the contrary, those that are not able to work are left in a
dreadful predicament. Even with two distinct versions of capitalism plain capitalism and democratic
capitalism both involve the necessary component of free enterprise. Capitalism considers free
enterprise something to be achieved individually with rewards intended for just oneself. Adam Smith
came along and challenged that notation ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To further illustrate this concept, I will share with you my time working in an undisclosed animal park
compared to my time working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a hospital. The animal park was
innovative and practically screamed free enterprise. There were rules, regulations, and an ethical code
of conduct all necessary components for democratic capitalism. However, higher ups were not elected
they were appointment by the owner. Likewise in the hospital setting, supervisors were also appointed
from upper management. Something unique about working in the hospital, however, was that there
were elected members of a resident government needed for democratic capitalism. Following Adam
Smith s theory, the hospital I worked for had many incentives in place. At the hospital, I could
accumulate paid time off and earn additional bonuses for picking up unscheduled shifts. As Smith
would have predicted, I undoubtedly worked harder at the hospital because the only incentive to work
at the animal park was for my check and nothing additional. At the hospital, I felt more involved with
my work. Although one might argue against healthcare and its intentions, I worked hard because I
believed that I personally was helping

External And Business Issues In The Viacom Company
The Viacom Company through the process of its stability has endured many issues both from the
external and internal environment. The issues may largely affect the company s performance in both
markets and also achieve a loyal customer/viewer base as well as the ability to hire and retain
employees in the television business that is very competitive. The competition could be threatening to
Viacom since, through constant innovation and creativity from the competitors, even the loyal viewers
of its networks could easily be swayed towards other new directions. Therefore, Viacom would largely
benefit if the issues are closely addressed with optimal carefulness and efficient strategies. The
strategies will keep the company on its toes. There are issues that are currently affecting the company,
and others are pending, meaning, they could affect the media conglomerate both positively or
negatively in the future. The Viacom Company faces the following issues; continuous profit and sales
decline amidst executive changes, troubles with charter carriage talks and the end to internal executive
disputes by the appointment of new executives.
The media conglomerate in the current years is facing troubles in stabilizing its sales and profits. After
the release of company earnings, the shares had sunk to 40%. Much of this could be contributed to

Executive Summary The Company Boca Electronics
Executive Summary The company Boca Electronics, is a manufacturer of semiconductor components.
Founded in 2002 this company mains products of production are microprocessors, lighting emitting
diodes (LEDs), rectifiers, suppressors. The company has been doing relatively well financially for the
past 4 years but, has recently started to face some issues due to an economy slowdown and
competition from other competitors within the industry. Also, the company has inherited mainframe
system from their parent company which has led to a breakdown in communication amongst
departments, increased lead times and failure to meet large orders in a short time span (Sanders, p. 87
88). When Boca Electronics forecasts sales and production it is often changed by the time orders have
been placed with the suppliers. Issues also emerge because of lack of sync between the suppliers and
the firm due to which product prices cannot be determined. Also, the accounting department which is
responsible for processing invoices usually has to email managers in other departments due to needed
alterations causing a lot of time wasting. Also, the system used by sales department and other
departments within the company are not the same, which leaves them with inaccurate data as one
department data is updated and others are not. The main issue for these problems is an inadequate
information system used by the company which has resulted in many of the Boca Electronics

Solar Power Essay
Solar Power: An Alternative Energy Source
Since first discovered in the 1860s, the concept of storing energy from the sun to use as a source of
power has been studied and pursued by many programs. Either using solar collectors or photovoltaic
cells, the methods of using solar power are becoming more efficient and cost effective. Solar
technology is currently being used by homes and businesses, but is still too expensive and risky for
many residents. Researchers are still making advances to solar technology for it to be a feasible energy
source in the future.
Solar energy was first started in the 1860s when Auguste Mouchout and William Adams found a way
for storing solar radiation into tanks of water. Since then, there have been ... Show more content on

Because silicon cells are only semi conductive, it is harder to generate an electrical current, and
therefore require collective grids to transfer electrons through a series of thin wires. Although
collective grids are the
Solar Power 3 most efficient way of solving conductive issues, it is expensive to produce. Instead,
photolithography is used to attach the metal grid to the cell. After the development of PV cells in the
1940s, little progress was made for the next few years because of its expensive cost. However, it was
used in the space industry in the 1950s and 60s. Now, with nanotechnology and other improvements,
there is possibility for cheaper and more efficient production. Finally, there are uses of solar furnaces
to collect solar energy in a small area by reflecting the heat using mirrors. An example of this is a solar
furnace in Odellio, France that has the ability to heat up to 33,000 degrees Celsius (Darvill, 2007,
para. 11).

The Mojave Desert is an ideal place for solar power plants since it is so insolated and has more

power, enough to support 500,000 people and making it a successful project. (Wikipedia, 2007, para.

When one thinks of marriage, images of happiness, faithfulness, and unconditional love come to mind.
Marriages are not for allowing two lovers to accomplish personal goals, but rather for faithful

the reader with two pairs of lovers that marry to accomplish personal goals, not because of a mutual

participants in the novels marriage alliances: Eustacia, Clym, Thomasin, and Wildeve marry to carry

A bewildered Clym answers It is very beautiful. But will you be mine? . Eustacia then asks even more
questions about Paris, such as, Now tell me of the Tuileries, and the Louvre. (Page201). Frustrated
with the lack of a solid answer from Eustacia, Clym cries I hate talking of Paris! , but this does not
stop Eustacia s constant flow of questions about the city. This is definitely not the expected response
to a proposal of marriage, and further evidences that Eustacia is more interested in a possible life in
Paris than the love of Clym Yeobright.
Clym Yeobright also is interested in marriage to help carryout his own personal goals in life. Before
the two meet face to face, without the mummer costume, Clym is introduced to Eustacia by Sam the
turf cutter. Sam reports to Clym that Eustacia is a handsome girl (Page 183) and that Clym ought to
check her out. Clym s first response to this is, Do you think she would like to teach children? (Page
183). This brief passage shows that when presented with the opportunity to marry, Clym first thinks
about the possibility that she would be willing to help him in his desire to run a school. As the
relationship between the two progresses, Clym talks to his mother about his intent to marry Eustacia.
Naturally, Mrs. Yeobright objects. The first words of defense to come out of Clym s mouth are, She is

types of cryopreservation referred to in this article, and they are fast freezing and slow freezing. They
are both successful, but fast freezing is less time consuming and more economical. Assessment In this
article, they talked about fast freezing and slow freezing of the embryo after the flush. The size of the
embryo effects the success rate during the freezing and thawing process. If the mare isn t flushed

?Childbearing is a time of transition and social celebration of central importance in any society,
signaling a realignment of existing cultural roles and responsibilities, psychological and biologic
states, and social relationships? (Andrews, Boyle, Andrews, 2012, p. 92). The focus of my paper is the
childbearing practice for the Turkish culture, focusing on pre natal care, birthing practices and
customs, and post partum care.
Turkey is a country that has a deep rich history that is filled with traditions, customs and superstitions.
Superstitions in Turkey apply to all aspects of their life, but have a huge part in pregnancy and child
birth. Turks love babies and believe that each life renews hope for the culture and the Turkish family
as well. In Turkey, every birth is a source of great joy not only for the parents, but also for relatives,
friends and the community. ?Every birth increases the number of family members, and increased
number have always meant increased strength? (Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism,
2015). Although Turkey is in many ways modern and Western, the Islamic tendencies are very strong.
The primary religion practiced in Turkey is Muslim so the majority of birth practices are related to
beliefs from that religion.

Learning Theology With The Church Fathers Summary
Learning Theology with the Church Fathers by Dr. Christopher A. Hall is a great place for a pastor,
laity, student, or a believer to start growing in knowledge of the Lord and learning theology. Learning
Theology is the second book in Dr. Hall s three volume patristic series examining early Church history
Reading Scripture, Learning Theology, and Worshiping with the Church Fathers. Dr. Hall is the
director of academic spiritual formation and a distinguished professor of theology at Eastern
University in Pennsylvania. He earned his Ph.D. at Drew University, has worked in some capacity at
Eastern University since 1992, and has ministered all over the world.
Hall offers a simple overview, not focusing on one particular church father, which provides a strong
foundational introduction for understanding how theology developed in the early church through the
patristic fathers. His methodology ties life in the early church with today s everyday believers, which
will help them to understand rudimentary theology. Hall begins by preparing the reader to learn
theology from the Church Fathers by asking crucial questions and giving background information to

He specifically advises the reader to learn directly from the church fathers rather than just trusting his
explanation. By doing this, Hall allows the reader to individually process the theological issues
outlined in the text. The mystery of God is interlaced through the chapters of the text, and through the
arguments of the early church fathers as described in the book. Hall uses controversies pertaining to
each topic to help readers understand that, even in the church s early days, there were those who were
against Christianity, and there was discord within the

Class Co dependence of Bourgeoisie and Proletariat in Marx
According to Karl Marx, history is defined by class struggle. This epoch is one of an increasingly
polarized duality of Bourgeoisie and Proletariat; simply defined as an antagonism between the owners
of capital and means of production, and the wage labors with no capital to speak of; A byproduct of
Capitalism. Introduced in The Communist Manifesto as a war of sorts, violent and hostile, his
description continues both in the Manifesto and in Capital, to delve deeper beneath the surface layer
and evolves into a more complete evaluation of their complex codependent relationship. As opposed

Marx depicts two camps at war, but shortly thereafter at a multifaceted association between them.
They are not two sides of a civil war, but rather more intimately linked. The Bourgeoisie are described
as leaders of an Industrial army (of Proletariat), indicating in some sense, the two being parts of a
singular mechanism, one driving toward progress. The Proletariat masses of labourers, crowded into
the factory, are organised like soldiers. As privates of the industrial army they are placed under the
command of a perfect hierarchy of officers and sergeants. Not only are they slaves of the bourgeois
class, and of the bourgeois State; they are daily and hourly enslaved by the machine, by the over
looker, and, above all, by the individual bourgeois manufacturer himself. 479 There is definitely
exploitation and oppression of the Proletariat by the Bourgeoisie, but they are both part of a working
system, that of Capitalism. By definition the one class depends on the other for its very existence. One
cannot define a group as the owners of the means of production, without having a separate group that
therefor is not; there can be no class distinguished

Romeo And Juliet Tragedy
Even in today s society parents ask their kids to do unreasonable things. It is the way we react to these
things that make all the difference. Romeo and Juliet are two fictional characters, their families have
been rivals as long as anyone can remember. Romeo and Juliet met at a party and fell in love instantly,
but their families did not approve of them dating. Romeo snuck into Juliet s room the day that they
met. Romeo and Juliet talked and fell deeper in love. At the end of the play, Juliet had the brilliant idea
to fake her own death so she could be with Romeo after he got banned from Verona. When Romeo
heard that Juliet had died he went to visit her. He saw her laying there and said that she looked
beautiful even dead. Romeo felt like he couldn t live in a world without his one true love, so he drank
a bottle of poison. When Juliet awoke a little while later she found Romeo lying there dead, Juliet then
took a sword and stabbed herself in the stomach. The question I m answering in this essay is: who is
responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet? In my opinion, there are many people responsible for
this tragedy, The Nurse, Romeo and Juliet s parents, and Romeo and Juliet themselves. The nurse, We
never really learned her name but she played a big part in this play. From the very beginning, she
supported Juliet with everything. The nurse is how Juliet originally found out that Romeo was a

My Perfect Year In School
A Perfect Year in School
I will always will remember when I was 14 years old and I was in High School, freshman year, we
often got off earlier than what hour schedule show. What we usually did when that happened was
going to the houses of the school mates, go and play soccer in the courts, go to the movies without the
permission of our parents.
When we went to a house of a school mate we usually buy a lot of food, like fry food, play music,
video games, our favorite video game was soccer, if we didn t have electricity we used to play
dominoes like the old times. We hate when we didn t have electricity it was one day with electricity
and one day without electricity typically from my country. I think that we were already accustomed to
the day to day of our country, something crazy.
When we could spend some money we used to go to the movies, we always watch horror movies to
make fun of our faces. The movie theater was one hour from our school. We usually take taxis, usually
four taxis. When we arrived to the movie theater everybody will start yelling each other and
everybody was looking at us. Sometimes when people look at our group like What is wrong with this

Sundell.J. (2004).On the History of Indoor Air Quality and Health. Indoor Air 7(14), 51 58.
Indoor air is a critical factor to human health. More than half of the air inhaled is at the homes. Indoor
air quality plays a huge role in one s health. Poor ventilation is one of the main causes of deaths in
developing countries. In developed countries, IAQ (Indoor Air quality) is a main cause of allergies,
other hypersensitivity reactions, air way infections and cancer.
The relation between IAQ and health is not given high importance. Studies shows that ventilation
rates below 25 l/s per person increases short term sick leave and reduces productivity. More efforts are
being put into building physics, HVAC engineering and architecture for better IAQ standards.
Dampness, Ventilation, Building materials and indoor air chemistry are one of the primary factors
affecting Indoor air quality and health, but lacks scientific data and needs to be researched more on.

Roger Chillingworth Scarlet Letter Quotes
Scarlet Letter is a popular Anti Transcendentalist novel written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1850. The
antagonist of the Scarlet Letter, Roger Chillingworth, pursues revenge and vengeance upon the man
who stole his wife. Roger is torn apart by his obsession with revenge and hatred, and is seen as the
false hero of the Scarlet Letter. Chillingworth is ultimately mentally destroyed throughout the novel.
Roger Chillingworth s appearance displays his dark, revengeful character. When Roger is introduced,
the reader can use sagacity to identify that Chillingworth is an evil, dark character. An early
description of Chillingworth follows: Again, at the first instant of perceiving that thin visage, and the

Descriptive Essay On Sharisabz
Shahrisabz stands for the The City of Green . It was once a major city located in southern Uzbekistan,
and is primarily known as the birthplace of the prominent conqueror, Amir Timur. However, it is
known to me as the birthplace of my mother s father, and his fathers before him. At the age of 15, my
grandfather was forced to leave when the threat of a communist takeover by Soviet Russia was
imminent. From there he migrated to Afghanistan and later to America. Sadly, not all of his family is
was able to get out; some of his cousins and uncles stayed behind and had to endure over 67 years of
Soviet oppression. They were no longer allowed to pray and observe Islam since it was banned by the
Soviets. Decades later, when my grandfather and I visited his city of birth and his family, it really
opened my eyes to how much living conditions change personality, lifestyle and even appearance. On
the drive down to Shahrisabz, there were fields of wheat, barley and cotton as far as the eye could see.
That was all there was to look at for an hour or so. Once we finally entered the city, things became
more lively. We could see that people were out walking, talking and playing, but since my grandpa s
cousin lived on the outskirts of the city, we had to endure a few more minutes of only fields before we
came to a small village.

Cannabis Has Been Proven to Have Therapeutic Benefits
Marijuana has been successfully used in pain management due to its analgesic and anti nausea
properties. Due to this reason, medical practitioners have in the past prescribed it to terminally ill
cancer or AIDS patients and muscle spasms victims. Currently, 15 states have legalized marijuana for
medical use making it easily available too not only terminally ill but others who report chronic pain or
severe nausea . This trend is likely to give rise to substance abuse with socioeconomic impact on the
society.
What is Cannabis? Cannabis occurs naturally as dried flowering of cannabis sativa plant.[1]
Commonly known as marijuana, It is either consumed by smoking or as an infused edible form.
Cannabinoids are the active compounds extracted from cannabis. Currently, marijuana may be
obtained at registered pharmacies over the counter in many states only on the recommendation of
physician. As it is not classified as medicine, prescription cannot be dispensed in measurable quantity.
Not only is it available in raw form but is also sold as a constituent of other edible products such as
muffins, lemon bars, lollipops and gummy bears! This availability of the product in such infused
forms gives the users a false sense of harmlessness associated with its use. The two proven indications
for the use of the synthetic cannabinoid (dronabinol) are chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting
and AIDS related anorexia. Other possible effects that may prove beneficial in the oncology include

The Advantages Of Deep Brain Stimulation
Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a neurosurgical procedure introduced in 1987. This procedure uses
the implantation of a medical device called neurostimulator. A neurostimulator sends electrical
impulses, through implanted electrodes, to specific targets in the brain for the treatment of movement
and neuropsychiatric (branch of medicine that deals with mental disorders) disorders. DBS in select
brain regions has provided therapeutic benefits for disorders such as Parkinson s disease, essential
tremor, chronic pain, major depression and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). DBS and its
underlying principles and mechanisms are still not clear. DBS directly changes brain activity in a
controlled manner, its effects are reversible unlike other techniques, and it is one of only a few
neurosurgical methods that allow blinded studies. Deep Brain Stimulation is approved by FDA in

  • 2. The Letter Of The Hebrews The Letter to the Hebrews was clearly written in regards to a specific group of Christians who were under some type of dilemma in regards to their religion (Rayburn 1490). Most everything else about this letter though is unclear. The true author of the letter, audience, and location of this audience all remain uncertain to this day. The letter has been attributed to the apostle Paul, however early scholars still cannot be sure if he was the true author. They actually believe that it is more likely that he is not the author. Even though Paul has been credited with writing this letter, there are many reason why scholars think that this appears to be more and more unlikely. For one, all of Paul s other letters indicate that he wrote them. It is not a characteristic of him to keep his letters anonymous. Another indication that scholars have examined is that the overall style of writing and content in this letter is much different than in any of the others. In addition, Hebrews 2:3 seems extremely unlikely to be able to connect up with Galatians 1:12 in the sense of where the messages were first received (Rayburn 1490). Hebrews 13:23 reference to Timothy gives us insight that he was a friend of both the writer and the readers, which can limit the author to someone who was a member of Paul s circle. A biblical scholar by the name of Origen once stated, Who it was that really wrote the Epistle [Hebrews], God only knows (Dockery 749). Because of this, the author of Hebrews and ... • 3. President Of The Executive Branch And The President Essay Founded on the premise of a Republican Democracy where the three branches of government, elected by the people to which it governs, are held accountable to one another by one another, the expansion of the powers of the Executive Branch and the President is a troubling matter as it at times encroaches on the freedoms and liberties so granted to us as citizens of the country and the earth. This increasing of the powers of the President has ultimately made the President the most dominant force in politics in regards to foreign policy, but the role, or rather, the lack thereof from Congress in regards to foreign policy, has also lead to such an imbalance of power in terms of foreign policy. Because of those two reasons, I think that Congress should reaffirm and reassert their constitutional authorities on the matters of foreign policy, so that the President can be once again put in check. The President of the United States has the most control over foreign policy for several reasons, but primarily I will focus on two of them. First, of the powers prescribed to the President in the Constitution, some of the more powerful ones include their roles as the Commander in Chief of the military at large and as the Chief Diplomat of the United States. These two powers are pertinent to any foreign matters as the President is given the authority to, in essence, act as the leader of the country to all other countries whom he or she may talk to during negotiations or other matters. As the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. The Fall Of The House Of Usher Effect Edgar Allan Poe once said that the artistry of narratives is in the ability to achieve a unity of effect (Clement, lecture notes). In his narrative The Fall of the House of Usher, a man gets a letter from an old friend who wants him to go to his family estate because he is sick. When he arrives, he notices that his friend and his sister are not the only ones affected by illness. It is obvious that the house is too. The illness leads to the death of the Ushers and also the destruction of the house. In The Fall of the House of Usher, Poe makes death and decay, as well as overall illness, his unity of effect. He creates this effect by using the different features of narratives. He establishes this effect through his narrator, the setting of the story, and the events that affect the characters. In this short narrative, there are many textual examples that enforce the effect of death, decay, and illness. In the succeeding paragraphs, I will be analyzing the style, setting, narrator, characters, and conflict of this ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the early time periods where oral narratives were the only form of story, narratives existed to teach a lesson or to illustrate a moral. In the medieval period, narratives were for entertainment. It wasn t until the nineteenth century that tales became about truth. Narratives like The Fall of the House of Usher aren t about teaching or entertaining. These narratives are about the message or experience that is being created through writing. They are about presenting readers with an effect that is made to be felt and thought about. In The Fall of the House of Usher readers are left with the feeling of death, decay, and illness because of Poe s use of language, story world, narrator, characters, and conflict. Edgar Allan Poe did an effective job of using his writing to portray the effect he wanted to deliver to everyone who read his ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Point of View Essay Each individual short story has its own point of view and voice. Within short stories there are different types of narrative and also different types of irony being used. Each individual author has their own way of telling a story; also they have a certain way to portray their story to an audience. For two specific short stories Everything That Rises Must Converge and Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter we can analyze to see what point of view and voice is being used. Everything That Rises Must Converge is a story that takes place in the 1960 s. A recent college graduate, Julian who escorts his mother to her weekly weight loss class at the YMCA. His mother attends these classes to reduce her high blood pressure. He escorts her there every week ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is not evident who is actually telling the story and its events. The story is not told in past tense which would imply that Julian was the one in fact telling the story. For Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter this is also told form a third person point of view. We can see that the story is not being told by any of the characters, and it shows the emotions and actions of everyone in the story. The narrative persona for this story is more close to Mrs. Dutta then other characters as the story mainly revolves around how Mrs. Dutta is feeling and her actions. The narrative persona shows a glimpse of the other characters emotions while focusing on Mrs. Dutta. Mrs. Dutta, who had never, through forty two years of marriage, addressed Sagar s father by name tried not to wince. (Borroway)Both stories are similar by the fact that they have the same type of narrative persona. In other stories such as What You Pawn I Will Redeem this is coming from a first person narrative. The story is being told by the main character and he knows little about the other emotions felt by other characters. For Everything That Rises Must Converge and Mrs. Dutta Writes a Letter the distance would seem to be closer as the reader knows each of the characters feelings and their emotions. Secondly, we can review of the types of irony that is being used for each story. Every story has its individual way of conveying a message to its readers. Irony is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Walla Street Art In the article, Public Art and Street Art, by Patrick Frank, the author, talks about the idea and meaning behind public art. Public art can be found in places accessible to everyone, you may encounter this type of art without intending to. Even if people understood that food would still not get to people who need it because getting the food to the hungry and to shelters and the poor is not cheap for the suppliers and is actually cheaper for them to just throw it away. Companies are also not charities, which is why companies should be incentivized to donate food with tax breaks, large corporations already get one, charity s get them and it would increase the amount of food that s being donated exponentially. Especially for small companies because annoyingly small companies tax breaks are not a permanent part of the tax code. This epoch is one of an increasingly polarized duality of Bourgeoisie and Proletariat; simply defined as an antagonism between the owners of capital and means of production, and the wage labors with no capital to speak of; A byproduct of Capitalism. Introduced in The Communist Manifesto as a war of sorts, violent and hostile, his description continues both in the Manifesto and in Capital, to delve deeper beneath the surface layer and evolves into a more complete evaluation of their complex codependent relationship. As opposed to two oppositional parts of a whole society, they are irrevocably linked and intertwined, by very ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Marx depicts two camps at war, but shortly thereafter at a multifaceted association between them. They are not two sides of a civil war, but rather more intimately linked. The Bourgeoisie are described as leaders of an Industrial army (of Proletariat), indicating in some sense, the two being parts of a singular mechanism, one driving toward progress. The Proletariat masses of labourers, crowded into the factory, are organised like soldiers. As privates of the industrial army they are placed under the command of a perfect hierarchy of officers and sergeants. Not only are they slaves of the bourgeois class, and of the bourgeois State; they are daily and hourly enslaved by the machine, by the over looker, and, above all, by the individual bourgeois manufacturer himself. 479 There is definitely exploitation and oppression of the Proletariat by the Bourgeoisie, but they are both part of a working system, that of Capitalism. By definition the one class depends on the other for its very existence. One cannot define a group as the owners of the means of production, without having a separate group that therefor is not; there can be no class distinguished ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Romeo and Juliet are two fictional characters, their families have been rivals as long as anyone can remember. Romeo and Juliet met at a party and fell in love instantly, but their families did not approve of them dating. Romeo snuck into Juliet s room the day that they met. Romeo and Juliet talked and fell deeper in love. At the end of the play, Juliet had the brilliant idea to fake her own death so she could be with Romeo after he got banned from Verona. When Romeo heard that Juliet had died he went to visit her. He saw her laying there and said that she looked beautiful even dead. Romeo felt like he couldn t live in a world without his one true love, so he drank a bottle of poison. When Juliet awoke a little while later she found Romeo lying there dead, Juliet then took a sword and stabbed herself in the stomach. The question I m answering in this essay is: who is responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet? In my opinion, there are many people responsible for this tragedy, The Nurse, Romeo and Juliet s parents, and Romeo and Juliet themselves. The nurse, We never really learned her name but she played a big part in this play. From the very beginning, she supported Juliet with everything. The nurse is how Juliet originally found out that Romeo was a Montague. When the nurse found out that Juliet had fallen for a montage she ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It was once a major city located in southern Uzbekistan, and is primarily known as the birthplace of the prominent conqueror, Amir Timur. However, it is known to me as the birthplace of my mother s father, and his fathers before him. At the age of 15, my grandfather was forced to leave when the threat of a communist takeover by Soviet Russia was imminent. From there he migrated to Afghanistan and later to America. Sadly, not all of his family is was able to get out; some of his cousins and uncles stayed behind and had to endure over 67 years of Soviet oppression. They were no longer allowed to pray and observe Islam since it was banned by the Soviets. Decades later, when my grandfather and I visited his city of birth and his family, it really opened my eyes to how much living conditions change personality, lifestyle and even appearance. On the drive down to Shahrisabz, there were fields of wheat, barley and cotton as far as the eye could see. That was all there was to look at for an hour or so. Once we finally entered the city, things became more lively. We could see that people were out walking, talking and playing, but since my grandpa s cousin lived on the outskirts of the city, we had to endure a few more minutes of only fields before we came to a small village. This availability of the product in such infused forms gives the users a false sense of harmlessness associated with its use.
