Psychographic Results • After interviewing my focus group, the psychographic questions results were that the majority of my target audience prefers a crime or horror film, with something that could get them thinking right from the start of the film and immediately question what is going on. They would be pleased to see a film based on the crime genre, which can deal with issues that they have to deal with in real life. • Based on these results, we would not be to do a slow build up in our film opening. - 4. Type of crime genre Youth Film Noir Ganster Heist • This shows that our target audience generally speaking prefers youth crime compared to any other sub genres within the crime genre. This has given us a good idea about what our film is going to be based on, as well as looking at the specific characters and scenery which can be involved. • Due to these results, we will do a film opening based upon youth crime. They would be pleased to see this as youth crime is a common occurrence in society and to see it as a film can give people a feel of what really happens.
- 5. Do you like films which portray the youth of our society in a modern way? Yes No Not Sure • Just over half of the people that we interviewed do like films that are set in the present day, based upon youth crime and what they get up to if they get into the wrong groups/ possibly have a hard time at home. • Based upon our results, it gives us a clear indication that we must show youth crime in our film. Throughout all the questions, our target audience have been interested in it and doing a film on this will be relatively pleasing for them.
