Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are opposite but complementary processes. Photosynthesis uses carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight to produce glucose and oxygen, while cellular respiration uses glucose and oxygen to produce carbon dioxide, water, and energy in the form of ATP. Students are tasked with creating a poster comparing and contrasting photosynthesis and cellular respiration by including chemical formulas, drawings, and labeling reactants and products.
