The document outlines photography plans for images in a music magazine. For the front cover, an extreme long shot of the featured band will be used to allow space for text. On the contents page, a medium close-up of an individual artist not looking at the camera will provide diversity. An additional wide medium shot of the band "messing around" with props will identify their article page number. For the double-page spread, a long shot will feature the lead singer standing forward from the band for identification of the article subject. An additional long shot will show the band in a random setting to feel more relaxed.

2. Front Cover; Main Image
For my front cover, I am going to use
the band that my double page
spread article is on to draw the
attention of readers. For the layout
of the shot, I am going to have an
extreme long shot so that you can
see the full bodies of the band but
also lots of space around them. This
is so that the master head and other
plugs and heading can fit neatly
around the band. This will be a
studio shot. Their costumes will be
dark coloured clothing and they will
have musical instruments as props.

3. Contents Page; Main Image
For my contents page main image, I am going to
have a medium close up shot of an individual
artist. The reason for this is to show some
diversity in the magazine and to have a slower
shot to allowing the readers to feel as if they
are getting exclusive inside access. For this
image, the artist will not be looking at the
camera/audience. The clothing with my dark
colours with a rock vibe but there will be no
props.

4. Contents Page; Additional Image
For the additional image on my
contents page I am going to have
the band from the double spread
and this will also have written
next to it the page of the article
on them. This will be a medium
shot that is wide. The clothing
will be dark and they will be
messing around with their props.

5. DPS; Main Image
For my main image on my double
page spread, I am going to have a
long shot and the lead singer of the
band(or most recognisable person
from the band) stand slightly forward
from the rest of the band so that they
stand out. Also so that the reader can
easily pick them out and understand
what the article is about straight
away. This will be a studio shot. Their
clothes will be dark coloured clothing
and there will be no props.

6. DPS; Additional Image
For the additional picture in the double page
spread article, I am going to have a long shot,
zoomed out from the artists. They will not be in
a studio this time and just in a random setting.
This is too show the personal connection the
reader is getting with the band by allowing
them to feel more relaxed.
