A personal learning network (PLN) is defined as the collection of people an individual engages with online to exchange information. PLNs can be created through various tools like social networking, microblogging, personal profiles, wikis, blogs, webinars, and RSS readers. These networks allow educators to follow other professionals, learn from students and teachers in shared spaces, discover new information from blogs and articles, and participate in live online events - all with the goal of ongoing learning.
