It asks the user to self-assess their strengths and weaknesses in various academic and employability skills categories, including communication, IT, personal effectiveness, and numeracy. For each skill, the user selects whether it is an area of weakness by checking a box. The audit aims to help the user identify skills to improve in order to achieve excellent results on their business program. Completing the audit provides a snapshot of the user's skills to set targets for development in weak areas.

Category 1 Skills – Communication.
Excellent communication is one thing that will help you gain advantage both in
terms of academic success and in your career. The five areas highlighted in this section
will all be really necessary if you are to fulfill your professional potential

Category 3 Skills – Personal Effectiveness
Nobody wants to work with, or employ, people who are disorganized, unreliable,
consistently late or people who don’t “pull their weight” in a team.
Both as an individual and as a group member this programme will test your focus,
commitment and attitude. You will quickly become known as someone who works well,
is reliable and who adds value to a team or as someone who cannot be depended upon.
If you are in the latter category, you will find it harder and harder to find good people
who want to work with you.
