People are the most important factor for successful adoption of Agile methodology. Not paying attention to team dynamics and composition can quickly lead to failures in Agile projects. Key reasons for failure include not building the team appropriately, lacking an Agile leader, and team members not understanding or committing to Agile values. For success, it is important to have a self-organizing team of experienced and skilled individuals, provide training and coaching to help the team improve, and give the team time to adapt to the Agile process. Investing in developing people and understanding the human factors is essential for any organization adopting Agile.
