This study examined the influence of principal leadership and teacher competency on teacher performance in integrated Islamic elementary schools in Cimanggis, Depok, West Java. The study found positive relationships between principal leadership and teacher performance, teacher competency and performance, and principal leadership and teacher competency. Specifically, it was concluded that teacher performance increases when principal leadership is optimal and teacher competency is high. The study recommends optimizing principal leadership through accommodating change and good school management, as well as increasing teacher competency through guidance and training.
