The student learned several important lessons from their preliminary magazine cover task to the final product. They improved at structuring taglines and selling points on the cover. Through choosing poses and backgrounds for the model, they learned how images can represent genres and attract different audiences. The student also gained understanding of using appropriate language and content for the intended reader and magazine type. From the experience, the student enhanced their skills in areas like time management, organization, and meeting deadlines to complete a large project.
The student conducted research including questionnaires and interviews to inform the design of their sports magazine cover focusing on football. They received positive feedback on their initial cover design from models and friends. For the double page spread and content pages, the student utilized the research findings but had less time to refine the design compared to the cover. In the end, the student was pleased with the professional quality of the images but felt they rushed portions of the interior design due to time constraints.
My media product uses and develops conventions from real magazines. I was inspired by the magazine "Blender" which I found to have an effective yet simple style. I took some of Blender's conventions like having a solo artist image dominate the cover page and using a limited color palette. However, my cover image is positioned to the side rather than the center. I developed my own conventions too, like making the text on my contents page larger to suit my younger target audience. Overall, I was able to produce professional-looking pages like my favorite article page while putting my own spin on conventions from real magazines.
After I had finished my school magazine, I had to evaluate my own performance. Both my teachers gave me questions I had to answer and this evaluation will help me when I make my music magazine.

Actions were added to manipulate the images further. Colors were adjusted and overlays were used to darken corners and edges. The edits created cohesion across images while emphasizing focal points and tying the visual design to the overall theme and message.
Adjustment layers were used extensively in the video to manipulate color and establish tone. Sepia tones distinguished flashbacks, and adjustment layers made red colors brighter and more vibrant against the black and white footage. Adjustment layers could be removed or modified if the creator was unhappy with the effect. Footage was cut down precisely to fit the rhythm and theme of the song. Speed and warp stabilizer effects were used on many clips to create different visual effects, though they cannot both be applied in Premiere so some clips required additional editing in After Effects. This document discusses genre across multiple perspectives. It defines genre as a category of artistic composition marked by a distinctive style or form. Genre provides expectations for audiences over time through established rules and relationships. The document examines genre through the views of theorists Steve Neale, Daniel Chandler, and Andrew Goodwin. Neale sees genres as processes of repetition and difference that attract audiences. Chandler notes genres are dynamic forms and functions that position readers. Goodwin identifies aspects for analyzing music videos and how genres influence location and style. An example of the Muse music video for "Knights of Cydonia" is given that illustrates many genre conventions.

Stealth attraction for mens gets her with your wordsichettrisagar95
My article gives a set of techniques used by men to subtly and effectively attract women without overtly displaying their intentions. It involves using non-verbal cues, body language, and subtle psychological tactics to create intrigue and build attraction. The goal is to appear confident, mysterious, and charismatic while maintaining an air of mystery that piques the interest of the person you are trying to attract. This approach emphasizes subtlety and finesse in communication and interaction to create a powerful and lasting impression.
Covey says most people look for quick fixes. They see a big success and want to know how he did it, believing (and hoping) they can do the same following a quick bullet list.
But real change, the author says, comes not from the outside in, but from the inside out. And the most fundamental way of changing yourself is through a paradigm shift.
That paradigm shift is a new way of looking at the world. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People presents an approach to effectiveness based on character and principles.
The first three habits indeed deal with yourself because it all starts with you. The first three habits move you from dependence from the world to the independence of making your own world.
Habits 4, 5 and 6 are about people and relationships. The will move you from independence to interdependence. Such, cooperating to achieve more than you could have by yourself.
The last habit, habit number 7, focuses on continuous growth and improvement.
2. Layla Keegan
When I was looking through her blog I noticed how much writing she
had done for her blog post she had created when she finished her
magazine and contents page, compared to some of the other
students. Her blog stood out to me as she had a video of the steps
she took to create her magazine which I found very creative.
Her first blog post was very well written
and it was evident that she had a clear
understand of what the task was and
what she was expected to create.
3. Why Her Blog Was Successful
I think that Layla’s blog was successful due to the understanding of
the task and how she conveyed that in her writing. She gave plenty of
detail in her writing and tells you everything there is to know about
her magazine and contents page. It is clear she had thought about
everything in her magazine as she mentions things from the price of
her magazine to mentioning the school twitter. This show she has a
good understanding of the task and the audience her magazine is for.
4. What Can I Learn From her Blog
Looking through Layla’s blog I think there is a lot I can learn from it.
For example the video she made that shows the stages of her
magazine I think is very interesting and as she has shown the stages
there is no need to write about them explaining and describing them,
as you can see the stages.
Something else I could learn would be to include the same level of
detail in my writing, as I didn’t think to include some of the details
she included. When she mentioned why her magazine was £1.50
(because students would have to buy it and they are unlikely to have
much money) I will take that on board and probably include it in my
own work.
