1. Q7
Looking
back
at
your
preliminary
task,
what
do
you
feel
you
have
learnt
in
the
progression
from
it
to
the
full
product?
2.
3.
4. cover
One
thing
that
I
learnt
and
developed
was
how
to
display
the
masthead
of
the
cover
In
my
student
mage
I
just
saw
it
as
a
@tle,
but
through
my
research
and
working
with
photoshop
I
realised
that
the
masthead
really
is
the
logo
or
iden@ty
of
the
magazine.
So
it
needs
to
be
Unique,
not
just
a
@tle
it
needs
to
be
something
the
reader
will
remember
and
iden@fy
with
When
they
see
it.
Another
thing
I
learnt
was
how
strap
lines
cant
just
be
placed
onto
the
page,
they
can
make
The
whole
cover
look
bad.
If
the
look
out
of
place
and
are
as
important
as
where
the
masthead
Or
splashes
etc
are
placed.
I
learnt
that
the
placement
aswell
as
style
of
them
can
comprimise
The
form
of
the
magazine.
They
cant
just
be
pieces
of
informa@on
they
have
to
be
specially
Chosen
so
that
they
catch
the
readers
eye.
Another
thing
that
I
learnt
from
my
student
magazine
was
that
you
need
to
have
a
second
place
Where
the
reader
can
acces
and
buy
etc
your
magazine.
This
also
maks
it
look
more
professional.
5. cover
When
I
made
my
student
I
thought
the
background
didn’t
need
to
be
to
relevant
as
it
was
focusing
On
the
models.
With
the
secondary
at
my
coursework
magazine
I
just
used
a
graffi@
background
I
took
near
My
house
which
I
thought
was
a
good
way
of
showing
relevant
style
to
dnb.
But
I
then
learned
that
Although
it
was
representa@ve
it
was
kind
of
plain.
ANer
having
used
photoshop
for
a
while
I
learnt,
that
I
could
cut
out
all
f
the
graffi@
and
make
a
background
layer
of
them.
This
development
made
my
final
Background
seem
more
like
the
collage
style
in
my
student
magazine.
But
I
developed
the
knowledge
on
how
To
make
the
background
interes@ng
and
relelvant.
6. contents
One
thing
that
I
have
definatley
learn
through
making
my
second
contents
is
that
its
not
just
their
for
page
numbers
it’s
the
second
page
the
reader
see’s
and
even
with
the
different
ar@cle
names
etc
put
in
there
I
s
a
lot
of
space
for
other
things
to
make
the
page
more
detailed
one
way
I
did
this
was
include
a
rave
guide,
along
with
this
I
gave
snapshot
pictures
of
some
of
the
bigger
ar@cles
although,
this
second
thing
I
learnt
is
more
conven@onal
and
done
oNen.
Before
I
would
of
never
thought
that
the
contents
could
actually
look
beQer
with
more
informa@on
on
it.
Another
thing
that
I
learnt
which
was
really
important
was
targe@ng
of
the
audience.
When
making
my
student
magazine
I
didn’t
think
of
how
I
would
need
something
to
Draw
them
in
and
give
them
something
extra.
By
giving
them
this
free
cd
it
makes
the
Reader
feel
more
involved
like
theirs
a
community.
I
learnt
more
about
the
forms
of
a
typical
magazine
although
mine
is
a
niche
magazine.
Many
forms
and
Conven@ons
s@ll
make
the
magazine
look
readable.
My
student
mag
just
showed
the
page
numbers
But
like
I
was
talking
about
above
about
the
magazine
being
informa@onal.
I
learnt
that
it
also
needs
to
Adver@se
your
stories
just
like
the
cover.
I
put
pictures
that
related
to
some
of
the
bigger
ar@cles
on
The
page.
You
can
see
the
imagery
wasn’t
taken
into
to
much
thought
on
my
student
mag
but
I
learnt
That
it
actually
is.
7. contents
I
learnt
something
that
I
didn’t
do
in
my
student
mag
aswell
is
the
importance
of
the
audience,
In
my
student
mag
I
made
no
effort
to
adress
the
audience.
But
in
my
coursework
magazine
I
Learnt
that
by
represen@ng
my
audience
and
involving
them
it
makes
it
seem
like
there
is
An
audience
or
group
aQracted
to
it.
