The Performance Of Employees Are Doing Good Work
efforts show that employees are doing good work, the supervisor should praise their performance.
Employees who are confident and satisfied are less likely to allow defects in goods or services. b)
Standard Setting and Enforcement If employees and others are to support the quality control effort,
they must know exactly what is expected of them. This calls for quality standards. In many cases, the
supervisor is responsible for setting quality standards as well as for communicating and enforcing
them. These standards should have the characteristics of effective objectives: They should be written,
measurable, clear, specific, and challenging but achievable. Furthermore, those standards should
reflect what is important to the client. c) Using Control Chart Control chart is the most populated
quality tool. The main reasons of their popularity are [2]: i. A proven technique for improving

John Locke And Thomas Jefferson Essay
In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, John Locke and Thomas Jefferson, both had an impact on
influencing the development of liberal ideology. Due to this, the term rights is now prevalent
everywhere in politics. Natural rights is the principle in which, every individual is born with rights and
these cannot be removed by force or law. It is the entitlement to act or to be treated in a specific way.
The essential human law of nature is the preservation of mankind. In order to maintain stability in
society, Locke exclaimed humans should have a right and duty to live peacefully without any threat.
Locke and Jefferson stated natural rights originate from its correlation between human beings, nature
and God. Natural rights are the establishment of an individual s core necessities in life. Locke
considered the centralised three rights as; life, liberty and property . Property was not only the
materialistic ownership of things but also the right of one s wellbeing. Jefferson however, rejected
property as a natural right and clarified that it is only for human convenience. Instead, Jefferson
replaced the notion with the pursuit of happiness , underlining all individuals have the right to
obtaining happiness. Locke emphasised tall individuals should have the liberty to make choices based
on their lives, as long as it does not negatively affect others (Costly 2016).
Locke highlighted the government should exist exclusively for the protection of natural rights and

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Kidney Dialysis Machine
KIDNEY DIALYSIS MACHINE: A INVENTION OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
Kidney dialysis machines often called as artificial kidneys are used to treat patients who have lost
their kidneys during an accident or diseases they suffered.
PRINCIPLE the machine is a mass transfer device that cleanses patient s blood to remove dirty salts,
excess fluids and metabolic waste products. The dialyser is a large tank that contains thousands of
small membrane fibres. During the use of dialyser patient s blood is passed through these membrane
fibres, where it works as a cleansing fluid that helps to separate unwanted constituents from the
blood, once this is complete clean blood is returned to the body. Chemical engineers uses mass

To increase both safety and to make drug delivery easy within the body, chemical engineering and
biomedical communities have devised a variety of improved drug delivery techniques. To design
methods that can guarantee the delivery of precise, dosages to minimize the risk for overdose or
insufficient dosing are some of the challenges of chemical engineers. A chemical engineer Robert
Langer, and his colleagues discovered that when there is mixing of hydrophobic polymers such as
ethylene acetate and lactic glycolic acid under appropriate conditions, highly porous structures can be
formed by which specific molecules can be released for hundred days. In recent years targeted drug
delivery has become an issue of discovery in biomedical and chemical engineering departments.
Principle of chemical engineering related to polymer processing, diffusion and mass transfer
phenomena have played an integral part in the design development, manufacture and use of novel
drug delivery vehicles which are based on biocompatible, biodegradable polymers.

Trans-Trans Dibenzalacetone Lab Report
After the crude product was collected by crystallization process, it was weighted to be 8.4756 g. it was
recrystallized and collected. The weight of pure product was obtained to be 5.772 g In comparison to
the theoretical yield of the experiment; it was calculated to be 65.99 % recover and 82% total yield.
The melting point (MP) of the product was taken in order to identify the product. 2 trials were
performed, and the results of both trials are the same, 102 105oC. The expected product of this
experiment was dibenzalacetone, which has 3 different isomers: cis cis, trans trans, and cis trans, with
different MPs and boiling point (BP). The true MP of Trans trans dibenzalacetone isomer is 110
110oC (ref. 3). The true MP of cis cis dibenzalacetone isomer is 60oC (ref. 3). Cis cis dibenzalacetone
doesn t have MP because its appearance is oil (ref.3). In, comparison to all the isomers, the product s
MP was closet to trans trans dibenzalacetone, although the product MP was lower than the true MP of
trans trans dibenzalacetone. There were some possible reasons why the MP of the product was lower.
The intermediate, benzalacetone with the MP of 42oC (Ref. 2), could be existed in the product
resulting in lower the MP of the product. Another reason could be that the cis trans isomer of
dibenzalacetone existed in the product. In order to confirm which reason is the case, infrared spectrum

Through the analysis of IR spectrum, the product was confirmed to have both cis trans isomer and
trans trans isomer of dibenzalacetone in the product. Trans trans isomer was the major product,
because of the Experimental MP was closer to the trans trans isomer MP, 110 111 oC, than cis trans
isomer MP, 60oC. The % yield of the reaction was calculated to be 82% yield, with 65.99 % recovery

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Reciprocating Compressors
For lower flow rates during holding mode, reciprocating compressors are usually a good fit because of
their efficient turndown capabilities. They cater to a wider range of flow rates than any other
compressor type.
For large scale terminals, to cater higher BoG flow rate during unloading, centrifugal compressors are
appropriate. Multiple (2 or 3) compressors are installed in parallel so that shutdown of any one of
them does not hamper the operation. Depending on the tank type, reciprocating compressors can be
used if the tank is concrete roof tank. Those tanks generally are operated at higher pressures and
therefore, vapour generation is significantly low and hence reciprocating compressors can be used
even for unloading mode.

The simple and modular design of SCV s make capital cost of SCV s much lower than ORV s. But,
operating cost of SCV s is much higher than ORV s because of use of natural gas as a fuel. Typically
about 1.5% of the vaporized LNG is used up for running SCV s.
 Shell and tube vaporizers
Shell and tube vaporizers (STV) involve 2 levels of heat transfer, where, first level is heat exchange
between LNG and intermediate fluid like propane and the second level is heat exchange between
intermediate fluid and sea water. The surface areas of the heat exchangers are optimized to have
maximum heat exchange. The major advantage of STV s is, they prevent freezing (unlike ORV s) and
reduce fouling risks. But of course, they are costly because of use of intermediate fluid like propane.
 Ambient air vaporizers
The emissions because of SCV s and unknowns associated with ORV s has made companies focus on
something which is reliable and cheap and renewable and hence, companies are focussing on ambient
air vaporizers which use ambient air as a source of heat transfer. The technology of using ambient air
for LNG vaporization was there in the market before, but for smaller scales. The recent advancements
has made it possible to use it at larger scales as well. The impact of temperature and climate is an
important factor for designing ambient air vaporizers. The technology is considered green because it
has no emissions and makes use of solar heat stored in air as a heat transfer

An Efficient Way Transmit Codes
Throughout time the need for an efficient way transmit codes were essential to success, after World
War I and into the start of World War II American forces was running out of ideas for codes. The USA
had always used the white s soldiers for the code talkers because there were easy to train, and a
abundance of them to choose making them the practice choose for code talkers. Until Philip Johnston,
he was an initiator that worked for a Marine Corps program. As a kid and into his teens he grew up on
a Navajo reservation and his dad was a missionary. Whit all the time that Johnston spent of the
reservation he became familiar with the people and their language. With the use of the Navajos it
grained equality for Native Americans which was not found in the late 1800 s, and soon it gained them
a greater respect by the whites into today s age. In the late 1800 s Indians were seen through the eyes
of the settlers as pests, people who occupy the land that rightfully belonged to the whites. They were
thought of as savages. However this was not true, the Navajo Indians and many other tribes were only
willing to fight for their land, families and the property that they have inhabited for hundreds of years
(Robert A. Roessel, 1). In this time of lack of control, Navajos were overpowered by Americans who
were in position of authority and control. This is because Americans lacked the understanding of the
Navajo way, leading to be fatal for many as they were being transferred, resigned,

Analysis Of A Stolen Life By Jaycee Dugard
A Stolen Life, a book written by Jaycee Dugard, goes in depth into her eighteen years of captivity at
the hands of her captors, Phillip and Nancy Garrido. On eleven year old Jaycee s way to school one
morning, she is kidnapped by a couple in California near her home. Jaycee accounts her experiences
with Phillip which include gruesome tales of sexual abuse and manipulation. Jaycee on many accounts
describes the terrible conditions she is kept in on her first few days in captivity, her captor leaves her
naked in handcuffs on the floor for 2 days before the sexual assaults begin, and these assaults
eventually leave her with two children before she is eighteen. By the age of twenty nine, on August

One example of rhetoric I discovered while reading was, metaphors. As she states many times, she
believes everything can be applied to as a metaphor during her recovery time, one experience she had
was, she has come up with the idea of lighting candles to symbolize my past, present, and future. My
past and present were the two candles we started with; she would ask me what I would like to start
with or deal with today. I would light up either my past or my present depending on the answer.
During the last few sessions, we ve used the candles I ve noticed my past melting more and more and
becoming duller and duller in light. Jaycee s recovery is very important to her as she watches herself
grow more and more comfortable with living freely and out of the controlling grips of Phillip. Before,
Jaycee was unknowingly reliant of Phillip for everything, for food, for safety, for assurance. Jaycee, as
a developing woman during this time, began to cling to this lifestyle and while she is breaking from
these habits of reliance, she begins to see her past being overcome in many aspects in the real

Emmeline Pankhurst Women To Vote Analysis

November 10,2016
Women in European History
Professor Giloi
Midterm Exercise
Emmeline Pankhurst is a strong activist for women s right to vote. She was a British activist who
wanted to have women s voices heard and taken seriously. Pankhurst has taken steps to reach her goal,
of having women to vote, by forming a union called Women s Social and Political Union. In creating
this it has gathered women all over who have the same mindset as her. This has helped Pankhurst with
some sort of military tactics to be carried out. The tactics started off as nonviolent movement and
became a violent movement. The Women s Social and Political Union had put in place techniques
such as parliamentary petitions, marches, hunger strikes, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It means that women would be able to have more control over their own lives. Pankhurst felt as
though if women had the ability to vote then their would be equal laws put in action. In The
Importance of the Vote Pankhurst elaborates on this further. She takes the issues that concern women
that are controlled by men to help get her point across, on how if women were allowed to vote it could
change for the better. Pankhurst mentions, We should have equal laws for divorce, and the law should
recognize that they have two parents (34). She talks about how when parents are married, the mom is
responsible for the child and the same goes for when the parents decide to have a divorce. When the
parents divorced the mother would have to go out to look for work, which meant the child would not
receive proper care. The mom would then have to face time in prison, hence why Pankhurst wanted to
have equal laws so there can be a compromise. She also uses another point in that piece on the
inheritance laws. Pankhurst mentions, When you look at the laws of inheritance in this country, it
makes you smile to hear that argument...Men have taken very good care that women do not inherit
until all male heirs are exhausted (35). Men have oppressed women from having any type of control
over owning land. They would give it to the oldest male heir or the next male making it unfair for
women. Pankhurst was trying to say by having equal laws the oldest child can take over the heir
whether they are male or female. It can be a big game changer for

Some service companies use VPN to run diagnosis of equipment to determine why it is
malfunctioning.
A benefit of VPN s is the use of the Internet to access off site locations or employees. These virtual
connections allow off site locations and employees communication to the LAN. Another benefit
would be improved security. VPN s sit behind a firewall, encrypt information transferred via the
Internet, Internet Protocol Security Protocol (IPSec) which allows better encryption and authentication
and AAA (authentication, authorization and accounting) servers which are used for more secure access
in a remote access VPN environment (Jeff Tyson, HowStuffworks.com).
Benefits also include reduced cost versus WAN or leased lines. Reduced transmit time and simplified
topology.
There are many problems to address before implementing a VPN. These can be divided into three
categories: Implementation, Configuration and Support.
Implementation
A successful VPN should acquire simplified software that end users are comfortable using. Otherwise
expensive training can impose additional costs not addressed in the initial estimated price of the VPN.
Virtual IP addresses are needed to integrate into the corporate network. These addresses can cause
some problems for application protocols such as NETMeeting and Xwindows.
Configuration:
Areas of concern when configuring a VPN include Internet access type, bandwidth usage and Internet

Dialogue And Authentic Dialogue
Authentic Dialogue When it comes to communicating with people, I do not have a hard time.
Although, this past fall semester I was put to the test. There was a student in our Dialogue and
Personality class that was, difficult. This caused the dynamic in class to be very off putting and hard to
communicate in. He was angry, negative and wasn t afraid to bring the class down with his negative
attitude. This is one example out of many how dialogue can be hard when you are dealing with
conflict. That being said, I would love to talk more about how conflict in dialogue can effect
conversation, how I have experienced authentic dialogue, as well as breaking down if authentic
dialogue was supported within my experiences. To begin, I would like to talk a little bit more about
conflict.
Conflict can be seen in many different situations in dialogue. It is important to be aware of signs so
that you can handle the situation properly. When there is conflict in dialogue it can hinder any
progress to be made within the conversation. Some things that may hinder dialogue are close minded
people, judgment, lack of empathy and people being attacked and blamed. All of these things our class
experienced with our former classmate. I remember the first class hoping he would drop because the
class environment was that uncomfortable. I think that shows that even how well you try to facilitate
or deal with conflict, sometimes its extremely difficult to find a resolution. Granted, our professor did

Great Expectations By Charles Dickens
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, is known and loved by a wide range of people all over the
world. This classic story tells of a young boy named Pip on his quest to become a gentleman in
Victorian England. The very first event in Great Expectations is Pip s encounter with Magwitch, an
escaped convict that gives Pip a fortune for saving his life. After meeting Magwitch, Pip goes to the
home of Miss Havisham, the eccentric woman appointed to teach him the ways of upper class society.
While at Miss Havisham s, Pip meets and falls in love with Estella, Miss Havisham s sharp tonged, yet
beautiful daughter. Pip s goal throughout the entire book is to win over, and be worthy of her. This
novel is widely read and is continuously read and discussed. Great Expectations is considered a classic
because of it s strategic use of descriptive language, development of characters, and it s stunning
relatability to modern day society. Great Expectations is famous for it s descriptive language. The way
Dickens describes Mrs. Joe slicing bread is a prime example of this. Dickens writes, First, wither her
left hand she jammed the loaf hard and fast against her bib which sometimes got a pin into it and
sometimes a needle, which we afterwords got into our mouths. (Dickens 7). While reading this quote,
a vivid and comical image pops into the head of the reader, and makes the scene infinitely more
intriguing. Instead of simply picturing a woman civilly cutting bread, the reader sees a

to George. Marcel made a plan of action that Marcel was to shoot the stone out of his hand with his

He took the bow off his shoulders and knocked an arrow. He had no chance of missing because he had
spent years in his apprenticeship practicing with the weapon. When he fired the shot he knew it was a
good one. It hit the stone and sent it flying out of his hand.Marcel ran back into the cover of the woods

they were confused as to where they were and why. They saw Horace dashing around frantically
looking for the stone, and when he spotted it, he jumped off and ran for it. By that point, everyone
knew what was going on and they chased after Horace and the stone. Horace was attacked from the
back and beaten down. When everyone stepped back from Horace, Marcel saw that he had bruises and

Susan Sontag s Notes On Camp
It is important to first be aware of the concrete definitions of low culture, as defined by Susan Sontag
in her Notes on Camp (1964) Low culture is a derogatory term for popular culture and working class
culture A direct opposite to this is high culture, often favoured by the elite. In which Sontag recognises
that both high culture and low culture are minority cultures. The combined influences of both strains
constitute mainstream culture . Before looking at what low culture Pope drew upon to produce his
own high art it is important to understand the context of Pope s writing and what was going on in
regards to Literary History of that time period.
The English Neo Classical Movement dominated English Literature from the Restoration (1660) to the
lyrical ballads of 1798,1800 and 1802. It is conventionally divided into three parts. These being the
Restoration Age (1600 1700) where figures such as John Milton and John Dryden were renowned.
The Augustan Age (1700 1750) where Alexander Pope himself was a central poetic figure and The
Age of Johnson (1750 1798). The primary focus is of course the Augustan Age, where Pope s work is
prevalent.
The Eighteenth century brought a new war of words, with a quarrel in 1690 s France in L Académie
Française, putting in to place a new historical sense of culture across Europe. The ideology is that
classical authors and learning could not be improved upon or surpassed by modern writers, instead
they should look to imitate the great

The Impressions Of Timothy Treadwell s Grizzly Man
Imagine voluntarily getting into a cage with wild Grizzly Bears, and having nothing to defend
yourself. This is what Timothy Treadwell did, except he upped the ante and chose to live alongside the
Grizzly Bears of Katmai National Park in Alaska. The last 13 years of Treadwell s life, he spent the
summer months living with the bears. Grizzly Man is a film that was created by Werner Herzog. The
film show contains content that Treadwell filmed himself, as well as portions filmed after his death,
that have Werner interacting with people who knew Timothy very well. I believe that this film is very
well put together and does a great job of showing Treadwell s interactions with the bears, with
minimal input from the narrator. I enjoy this part of the film because it allows you to form your own
opinion of Treadwell and see what he thinks is best for himself and the bears. In this paper, I will be
touching on how Treadwell s actions throughout the film relate to writings done by; Michael Nelson,
J. Baird Callicott, and Reed Noss. Some of Nelson s wilderness preservation arguments fit right
alongside what Treadwell is doing on his expeditions. Calllicot and Noss focus on wilderness
alternatives and the impact that humans have on the environment. My first impressions of Timothy
Treadwell were that there is no possible way this man has become one of the bears and spends most of
his time right next to them. He looked weak to me and someone who could easily be dispatched of.

Synopsis Of Il N Existe Probablement

peuvent commencer à vieillir dès la naissance, voire in utero. Le vieillissement est la résultante des
effets combinés de facteurs génétiques (vieillissement intrinsèque) et de facteurs environnementaux

Catching A Sport
Sports have always been competitive by nature with each one having a vast number of viewers and
fans that will defend their sport with all their might and slander or trash talk on all the other sports.
The word sport is generally associated with athletics such as football but when it comes to a non
athletic then it becomes a problem for people to define it as a sport. Sport comes from Old French
desport meaning leisure . Adding to this idea, Sport Accord, the international committee of sports,
defines a sport by having an element of competition, provide no harm to animals, not rely on
equipment from a single supplier, and not rely on any luck . This is why everyone thinks of sports as

Catching is an essential skill in football so in order to master the skill an individual must first learn
how to catch and throw. Learning how to perform the skill at a faster rate is the next step after
knowing how to perform the skill. After you learn how to throw the ball then you can start practicing
with the speed of the throw. When you have learned the skill and have practiced to perform it well
then you practice to perform it consistently by being fatigued, under stress, or under pressure. Overall
practicing a skill takes a tremendous amount of time and effort that separates the level between all the
competitors in a sport. Skills don t necessarily have to be physical they can be related to mental
processes too. For example, in chess where one must try and predict and read their opponents next
possible move, it requires the use of the mental state to be able to counter the opponent s moves.
Every sport whether physical or mental contains a multitude of skills that must be mastered by the
player. This is what makes every sport extremely tough to compete in due to the tremendous amount
of practice that must be done to be great at every possible skill. A player s weaknesses lie where skills
are either lacking or underdeveloped such as in basketball where there may be a player that is great at
passing, but has mediocre scoring skills. Skills are essential in order to play any sport since they apply
to each different ability that is performed in the sport. Therefore, applying those skills to something in
a competitive manner makes a

The Defense Of Homeland Security
An incredibly long 13 years has passes since the Department of Homeland Security has stood up and
began the ultra important job of protecting the United States from both state and non state sponsored
threats. There have also been great strides made to protect the U.S. from insider threats as well. The
monumental effort it took to synergize all 22 agencies with inherently different jobs into one living
breathing unit took significant patience and forethought. There has been and will continue to be heated
debates on protecting civil liberties while guarding citizens from both terrorists and natural disasters.
Can there be a balance of maintaining civil liberties and securing the airports, borders, and cities from
another 9/11? Has there been a significant improvement in how different agencies break through the
bureaucracy and come together to share information? There has indeed been a substantial
improvement to how 22 agencies across the government provide security for all Americans. In
response to the attacks on 9/11 the PATRIOT act was passed. (Congressional Digest 2004, 258) The
PATRIOT act provided, in many ways like the creation of Department of Homeland Security (DHS),
sweeping changes across the government. The PATRIOT act allowed law enforcement unprecedented
latitude to identify, prosecute, and ultimately stop terrorists from harming Americans. There were
three broad areas where the act gave the agencies tracking terrorists more help. (Congressional Digest

Morrison s Identity In William Morrison, Pecola, By Toni...
1. At the beginning of the novel, When the words are connected it shows perplexity and worry which
is really what happens to the Breedlove s. I think Morrison shows in her writing that also happens to
Pecola as she struggles for acceptance and Identity. Contrast is also one of the things Morrison s
powerful English show throughout the text. There is definitely a confusion between the community
because it loves and hates at the same time. Also, it is illustrated in the book that black families are the
only ones with the struggles and problems when compared with the white family.
2. Claudia s understanding of how the world could be dark was very little, due to the fact that she was
too young. So, her point of view is very insightful. Throughout the Novel Pecola is maltreated no
matter the circumstances, especially when she needed attention and support. Morrison shows in many
ways that Pocola s Environment is hostile to her. To begin with her parents negatively perceived
themselves, and it had a huge effect on Pecola and why she perceived herself as being ugly. Also in
the School, she was treated badly by the kids around her. Her parents did not love their identity and
took this out on their daughter. In addition to the hatred that she received from her parents, she also
received cruel treatment from schoolboys of the same race, not to mention she was raped by her own
father. So, I think it was important to have Claudia as the narrator, because she grasped on the fact that

Analyzing the Truman Show Essay
Analyzing the Truman Show
One physical feature of Seahaven that reeks of a movie set, is the disorder or absence of, that typical
life indubitably suffers from. Everything from the dog to the cars, the window cleaner to the mother
pushing the pram is set by the director Christoff on a preset course round and round their particular
area or doing the same job over and over again. This prevents any chaos from erupting and wipes out
the need for policemen, which we obviously didn t see any in the Truman Show. Their itinerary is the
same everyday and it is bound to be conspicious, however it is not until the end of the movie that
Truman enlightens upon this fact. Another apparent movie set prop ... Show more content on

In no matter what country from every New Yorkian city to a small outback community, rubbish on the
ground always outnumber 10 times the size of the human population. Seahaven with its spotless
streets is a illusion of the perfect heaven. No one lives in poverty and the neighbourhood is clean and
quiet. As a matter of fact, Christoff is projecting into Truman s mind a vision of a dreamworld that is
Seahaven. While commenting heavily on the outside world s disasters and violence, no bad aspect of
the real world is allowed to leak in and contaminate his master plan.
Note the scenes in which we are made aware of the relationship between Truman and his audience.
How do these scenes reveal what is really going on?
A number of dedicated viewers of the Truman Show are introduced to us. They are the people of the
real world looking into the intimate life of a real person un knowingly living in a make believe
movieset, the size of a small city. There is a obese man who lives in his bathtub and who also lives to
watch the Truman Show. This also applies to two old couch potato ladies, one of them whose obvious
favourite possesion is a cushion with Truman s face stitched on. The appeal of the Truman Show is
worldwide and apparently very riveting as demostrated by scenes of an oriental family quite enjoying
the show. Some moments could be

Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility Of The Armed...
Executive Summary:
In response to the earlier task where all Senior Stakeholder Relationship Representatives were
required to settle on a strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner for BusComm
Enterprises, Armed Services YMCA of San Diego is hereby presented as the final choice. The
charitable organization offers numerous support services such as assistance to rehabilitate wounded
soldiers, free medical and psychological counseling, and programs to aid soldiers and their families.
This choice is also based on the known deficit of support to military men and women who frequently
suffer from life altering physical and emotional injuries. The Armed Services YMCA is a well
organized and highly rated association, with a rich history of serving since the civil war. It is thus a
suitable strategic partner that fits our organizational goals and desire to integrate precedent setting
CSR practices. This charity also fits our budget and presents a unique opportunity to serve in a barely
exploited area, which will appeal to our shareholders. Conversely, my analysis indicated that Invisible
Children would require higher scaling of resources and commitment in order to make an impact while
their thematic area may be hard to resonate with our audience. Elsewhere, Community HousingWorks
appeared capable of self funding and represented a fairly common CSR partner who wouldn t present
BusComm Enterprises as any different among peers. It was also my opinion that the San Diego Brain

Subliminal Messages And Subliminal Stimuli
Every time that you see a billboard while driving down the road, a commercial during your favorite
regularly scheduled programing, or even advertisements that pop up while you are surfing the web;
you are unconsciously being bombarded by subliminal advertisements and there is a good chance that
you have never even noticed. Subliminal stimuli are found in numerous arrangements, and effects,
which lead to your subconscious taking in many of the subliminal advertising tactics that marketers

A good way to look at your subconscious is like the gas in your car that you drive. You obviously
know that there is gas in your car thanks to the fuel gauge and the fact that you physically pumped and
paid for it at the gas station; but when you turn the key and start your car you cannot see the gas
functioning to power the vehicle, and you don t really think about everything that it does to make your
car function while on your way down the road. A subliminal stimulus is found in this subconscious
section of our mind because they operate below the invisible line of what you are presently aware of
and are able to interpret by your subconscious (Biology Online, 2014).
The first understanding that there may be something other than our conscious that could influence us
came from a man named Sir Francis Galton in 1879. This belief would latter go on to inspire much of
Freud s theories of human behavior like the Freudian Slip, a time when unconscious though gets
blurted out during inappropriate circumstances (Gazzaniga, 2016). Since Galton and Freud take on our
subconscious we have advanced further to realize the term subliminal advertising. This term first
began during the 1970s and is described as the arrangements of words, pictures, and shapes

Literary Analysis Of The Stranger By Charles Camus
While studying many works of literature, several themes present themselves in in depth readings, such
as the theme of otherness in Albert Camus The Guest . This story centers on a character, an outsider,
who is trying to fit into the society in the story. It may not be the fact that the stranger is different in
looks, culture, or language like it is in this short story, but it is just the fact that they are not the same,
which causes them to be the outsider and fulfill the role of the otherness. As we look through the short
story The Guest , and through the short novel The Stranger , we can see that Albert Camus is working
towards the idea of Otherness and how it can affect societies where the otherness is seen as
undesirable.
Otherness, as defined by Merriam Webster, is the quality or fact of being different. In The Guest and
in The Stranger we are able to see the use of Otherness . The pattern of otherness and trying to find
common ground between the characters is prevalent in Camus works set in Algerian French control.
Daru and the prisoner are the complete opposites of each other culturally, linguistically, and ethnically;
they are set up to be each other s other from the beginning, and yet, they seem to be able to find some
kind of common ground. I am interested in why Camus made it so that these two men, who are
strangers in the beginning, can be seen as comrades near the ending. I will compare these two works
by Camus and find out the purpose of his

Classic Greek Philosophy
The downfall of Greece s Mycenaean period was thought to have begun from internal civil turmoils
that led to an unstable government. The weakened government left the country vulnerable to foreign
mariners who took advantage, invaded, and destroyed much of the country.
2. Describe Classic Greek Philosophy.
Classic Greek Philosophy is largely based on the ideologies of Socrates and those who supported and
added on to his ideas, such as Plato and Aristotle. Rather than believing that the world was created by
one or many gods, Socrates and other Greeks relied on observable evidence, scientific reasoning, and
realistic thoughts to explain the natural processes of the world.
3. What was the social organization of the Hellenistic Kingdoms?
During the Hellenistic period, Greek culture was widespread across the Mediterranean. After the death
of Alexander the Great, the Hellenistic empire broke up into kingdoms and were ruled by kings. The
Hellenistic kingdoms retained much of the Greek s philosophy, science, literature, and art. The
kingdoms administered cosmopolitan societies, interacted frequently with people from Greece to
India, and integrated the economies and societies of far away regions by facilitating trade.

The Stereotypes Of Homosexuality In Film
While many believe that homosexuality has only been seen in mainstream media for only a few
decades, it has actually been with America cinema since the early 1920 s. The portrayal of
homosexuality in film and TV has come a very long way since the 1920 s. What viewers see on TV
about homosexuality is really just a representation of America s changing public view on the subject.
While we have come to accept the topic of homosexuality in American society more willingly, we
have substituted much of our prejudice about gays with the stereotypes that we see on TV constantly.
Because as a society we are constantly forced to see these stereotypes, we are being halted in our

In the early fifties, lesbians were also being attacked by the film industry, portraying them as

homosexuality in films more suitable for audiences, the film Victim made its debut in the United

oppression of homosexuals. While this was the first time in history that a film portrayed a gay
character in a non demeaning way, this would lead to the stereotype of sympathetic gay characters in
film. One film that I would like to note that is a great example from the 90 s would be the film
Philadelphia, starring Tom Hanks as a gay AIDS victim that was fired because of his sexuality and
disease. Hollywood targets Hanks character and makes him into a tragic figure. His character dies at
the end of the film. In an interview with Jan Oxenberg, she points out that even though Tom Hanks

seems as if Hollywood and the film industry will never have a film in which the gay main character

Death Penalty Since the year 1976, around 1,462 people in the United States have been executed by

stone of debate since its launch in 1976. With so many differing viewpoints, arguments pertaining to
the moral issue, legal considerations and possible alternatives have been left unsettled since. The
ongoing tug of war within these topics slowly tries to chip away at the big question. Should the death

In their eyes, the death of murders relieves the burning vengeance and pain victims loved ones go
through. Opponents argue against the thought of revenge and any connection it has towards justice or
fulfilling the grief of death. They argue that vengeance only makes things worse and extends the chain
of violence, claiming it has no place in our justice system. Along with moral issues, social unfairness
such as poverty and race have always been woven into concern among the two sides. One argument
touches on the economic state of the convicted and how it affects his/her chances of being executed.
People of poverty don t have the money to hire a good legal representative leaving them with a weak
defense against their crime. I don t know of any affluent people who have been sentenced to death,
said Walter Berns, a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington. People of
poverty who are given a representative by the state find that often that their defendant is ill
experienced and underpaid. Court appointed death penalty lawyers are paid barely enough to cover
costs, are usually inexperienced, and often don t put up much of a fight, said Stephen Bright, director
of the Southern Center for Human Rights in Atlanta. This imbalance in equity on an economic level
also rings true on an ethnic level through racial bias. In 82% of the studies

Dopamine Model Essay
The Dopamine Model (DM) has been around since the twentieth century (Preston, O Neal and Talaga,
2017). The model believes that the cause of schizophrenia symptoms is from abnormal dopamine in
the brain (Preston, et al., 2017). The premise is based off two observations. The first one is that
antipsychotic drugs are able to bind and block the dopamine receptors (Preston, O Neal, et al., 2017).
The second observation is that the antipsychotic drugs increases dopamine which create paranoid
schizophrenia symptoms (Preston, et al., 2017).
The Glutamate Model premise is from the phencyclidine (PCP) drug (Preston, et al., 2017). The
upside of the glutamate model is that the PCP is able to block the glutamate at the N methyl D
asparate signals in the brain (Preston, et al., 2017). PCP increases symptoms that schizophrenia lack
such as, negative thinking, apart and disorganization (Preston, et al., 2017).
Neurodevelopmental/Neurodegenerative Model (NNM) is different from the former two models.
NNM examines the biological factors that are considered abnormal (Preston, et al., 2017). It has been
believed through evidence that schizophrenia is a progressive disorder with this loss of cognitive use

Adenosine Function In The Body
Function in the body Adenosine primarily acts in the central nervous system. It promotes sleep in the
evening and assists the brain to wake up in the morning. The concentration of adenosine is highest in
the brain during waking hours and it builds up the longer a person is awake. Since the ATP reserves
are depleted and stored in the brain, it results in the buildup of adenosine in the brain. When a person
is asleep, adenosine is metabolized by adenosine deaminase, which results in a decreased
concentration in the brain in the morning which causes a person to wake up. In the brain there are
several receptors for adenosine, one being the A1 receptors which are mostly in the cerebellum, it

To become vertically integrated, a company trying to enter the strategic group would need to acquire
several companies in different areas of the entertainment industry. These acquisitions would be highly
capital intensive and very risky for a new entrant. Another barrier to entry is the product
differentiation in the strategic group. Each company in the strategic group has certain channels that are
considered premium channels. Cable providers are willing to pay more for these channels, which they
end up having to charge the end consumer more for. These premium channels differentiate content
providers from one another. The content providing business is a highly capital intensive business.
Therefore, the capital required to enter the strategic group and compete is extremely high. To calculate
the capital required for a new entrant, we first found the average revenue of the strategic group (~$7.5
billion). We then assumed that a new entrant would have to capture about a third of this average to
even make an impact in the industry. Taking this assumption into account, we figured that the new
entrant would need about $2.5 billion in its first year of operation. Using this revenue, we then
calculated the first year expenses the new entrant would incur. • Expenses based upon 3 months

Biological Warfare In Vietnam War
In many cases, war is fought in order to gain something. It could be territory, or wealth, or power, but
in some cases it is fought simply to kill. A type of warfare that exemplifies this is chemical and
biological warfare. These attacks are aimed simply at killing everybody. In addition, most people think
of biological warfare as a very recent war tactic, dating back not much further than agent orange,
deployed in Vietnam. In fact, one of the first and one of the most devastating instances of biological
warfare occurred much earlier, in 1347. This was the attack that brought the black plague from it s
origins in western Asia to Europe through Caffa, a city on the modern Crimean peninsula.
Though originally the plan of the attack was to capture the city, it ended with massive death both in

Surprise, Security, And The American Experience
Review of surprise, security, and the American experience
There are a lot of things analyze the shifts in American foreign policy have been written before the
famous day America lose it sense of security Sept 11. Thing like news reports, articles and books.
Theses are some of those books :Rogue Nation, The Bubble of American Supremacy, Top Secret
America: The Rise of the New American Security State.
There are some books who are against America that don t hesitate to compare it to evil countries like
Germany during ww2. Then there are book that claim that the CIA was actually behind the 9/11
attacks. Then there is Surprise, Security, and the American Experience, a non bias attempt to analyze
America foreign policy in its real context and without any unwanted criticism. The author is John
Lewis Gaddis, a historian of the cold war, who taught at Ohio University and Yale.
Now in Surprise, Security, and the American Experience, there were three big shifts in the history of
united states foreign policy, each one was by a surprise attack on America. The first one happen when
the British sacked Washington on August 24, 1814. This exposure of America led John Quincy
Adams, as President, to come up with ways the U.S. Should define it self.
Adams was aware of the fact that the United States had a lot of borders to defend, but only limited
means with which to defend them. So Adams can up with the idea that the us should get as much land
as possible to stop pirates and other

Aeneas Virtue
Virtue is a key theme in the literature of the Greeks and Romans. Aeneas, an incredibly virtuous man,
is still limited by his humanity. Though he is strongly compelled by his sense of duty, his even
stronger emotions often distract him. Contrastly, Socrates is portrayed by Plato to be at a level just
above human. He is capable of seeing past emotion and impulses of the flesh in a manner few others,
if any at all, are able to do. Socrates transcendence beyond earthly desires and focus on the betterment
of the soul allows him to be the foremost instructor in virtue despite unfavorable circumstances;
Aeneas, on the other hand, is a virtuous leader who is hindered by his furor, or uncontrolled emotion,
and relies on heavenly guidance to keep him in check. Many virtuous deeds were done by the hands of
Aeneas. He is a good man and an exceptional leader. This is exemplified by the way he and his father
take the Greek Achaemenides into their party after the man was left by his own companions to die on
the island of Polyphemus the Cyclops (Aen. 3.706 712). The Trojans had only recently escaped the
destruction of their beloved Ilium, which fell because they trusted another Greek, Sinon, who also
claimed to be abandoned by his countrymen (Aen. 2.74 76). Aeneas, refusing to draw parallels
between Achaemenides and the traitorous Sinon, shows compassion to the Greek warrior whom he
knows nothing about. Later, Aeneas again shows his capabilities as a leader during his father s funeral

Poetry By John Keats And Ode On Melancholy
Poetry is a literary work which is portrayed by the expression of feelings and ideas by poets using a
distinctive style or rhythmic pattern. It is used to convey many poets ideas and emotions in a way that
is vivid and imaginative. Poetry allows the reader to imagine what the poet is describing through
sensual descriptions and other literary devices that invite them to picture life in the eyes of the poet. In
the poems Ode to a Nightingale and Ode on Melancholy by John Keats, both poems stimulate an
emotional response through their meaning. They describe that while in most cases joy can be
experienced through feeling pain, fulfillment of happiness comes from living and thinking
passionately. In order to experience joy and the wonderful things in life, you have to experience pain
first and also surround yourself with the beauty of the gift of life and its many offerings. John Keats
conveys this in his poetry by using literary devices such as imagery, personification, alliteration, and
various sensual descriptions to describe the feeling of joy and happiness that can be experienced in
many different ways throughout both poems. Although John Keats was not one of the many well
known poets of his time, his poetry began to influence a diverse range of poets and writers after his
death by the end of the 19th century. Keats, Born in 1795, the son of a stable keeper, was raised in
Moorfields, London where he used many of his feelings throughout his life in his poetry. He

  • 3. John Locke And Thomas Jefferson Essay In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, John Locke and Thomas Jefferson, both had an impact on influencing the development of liberal ideology. Due to this, the term rights is now prevalent everywhere in politics. Natural rights is the principle in which, every individual is born with rights and these cannot be removed by force or law. It is the entitlement to act or to be treated in a specific way. The essential human law of nature is the preservation of mankind. In order to maintain stability in society, Locke exclaimed humans should have a right and duty to live peacefully without any threat. Locke and Jefferson stated natural rights originate from its correlation between human beings, nature and God. Natural rights are the establishment of an individual s core necessities in life. Locke considered the centralised three rights as; life, liberty and property . Property was not only the materialistic ownership of things but also the right of one s wellbeing. Jefferson however, rejected property as a natural right and clarified that it is only for human convenience. Instead, Jefferson replaced the notion with the pursuit of happiness , underlining all individuals have the right to obtaining happiness. Locke emphasised tall individuals should have the liberty to make choices based on their lives, as long as it does not negatively affect others (Costly 2016). Locke highlighted the government should exist exclusively for the protection of natural rights and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The melting point (MP) of the product was taken in order to identify the product. 2 trials were performed, and the results of both trials are the same, 102 105oC. The expected product of this experiment was dibenzalacetone, which has 3 different isomers: cis cis, trans trans, and cis trans, with different MPs and boiling point (BP). The true MP of Trans trans dibenzalacetone isomer is 110 110oC (ref. 3). The true MP of cis cis dibenzalacetone isomer is 60oC (ref. 3). Cis cis dibenzalacetone doesn t have MP because its appearance is oil (ref.3). In, comparison to all the isomers, the product s MP was closet to trans trans dibenzalacetone, although the product MP was lower than the true MP of trans trans dibenzalacetone. There were some possible reasons why the MP of the product was lower. The intermediate, benzalacetone with the MP of 42oC (Ref. 2), could be existed in the product resulting in lower the MP of the product. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Reciprocating Compressors For lower flow rates during holding mode, reciprocating compressors are usually a good fit because of their efficient turndown capabilities. They cater to a wider range of flow rates than any other compressor type. For large scale terminals, to cater higher BoG flow rate during unloading, centrifugal compressors are appropriate. Multiple (2 or 3) compressors are installed in parallel so that shutdown of any one of them does not hamper the operation. Depending on the tank type, reciprocating compressors can be used if the tank is concrete roof tank. Those tanks generally are operated at higher pressures and therefore, vapour generation is significantly low and hence reciprocating compressors can be used even for unloading mode. Composition ... But, operating cost of SCV s is much higher than ORV s because of use of natural gas as a fuel. The surface areas of the heat exchangers are optimized to have maximum heat exchange. The major advantage of STV s is, they prevent freezing (unlike ORV s) and reduce fouling risks. But of course, they are costly because of use of intermediate fluid like propane.  Ambient air vaporizers The emissions because of SCV s and unknowns associated with ORV s has made companies focus on something which is reliable and cheap and renewable and hence, companies are focussing on ambient air vaporizers which use ambient air as a source of heat transfer. The technology of using ambient air for LNG vaporization was there in the market before, but for smaller scales. The recent advancements has made it possible to use it at larger scales as well. She takes the issues that concern women that are controlled by men to help get her point across, on how if women were allowed to vote it could change for the better. Pankhurst mentions, We should have equal laws for divorce, and the law should recognize that they have two parents (34). She talks about how when parents are married, the mom is responsible for the child and the same goes for when the parents decide to have a divorce. When the parents divorced the mother would have to go out to look for work, which meant the child would not receive proper care. The mom would then have to face time in prison, hence why Pankhurst wanted to have equal laws so there can be a compromise. She also uses another point in that piece on the inheritance laws. Pankhurst mentions, When you look at the laws of inheritance in this country, it makes you smile to hear that argument...Men have taken very good care that women do not inherit until all male heirs are exhausted (35). Men have oppressed women from having any type of control over owning land. They would give it to the oldest male heir or the next male making it unfair for women. That being said, I would love to talk more about how conflict in dialogue can effect conversation, how I have experienced authentic dialogue, as well as breaking down if authentic dialogue was supported within my experiences. To begin, I would like to talk a little bit more about conflict. Conflict can be seen in many different situations in dialogue. It is important to be aware of signs so that you can handle the situation properly. When there is conflict in dialogue it can hinder any progress to be made within the conversation. Some things that may hinder dialogue are close minded people, judgment, lack of empathy and people being attacked and blamed. All of these things our class experienced with our former classmate. Dickens writes, First, wither her left hand she jammed the loaf hard and fast against her bib which sometimes got a pin into it and sometimes a needle, which we afterwords got into our mouths. • 17. Susan Sontag s Notes On Camp It is important to first be aware of the concrete definitions of low culture, as defined by Susan Sontag in her Notes on Camp (1964) Low culture is a derogatory term for popular culture and working class culture A direct opposite to this is high culture, often favoured by the elite. In which Sontag recognises that both high culture and low culture are minority cultures. The combined influences of both strains constitute mainstream culture . Before looking at what low culture Pope drew upon to produce his own high art it is important to understand the context of Pope s writing and what was going on in regards to Literary History of that time period. The English Neo Classical Movement dominated English Literature from the Restoration (1660) to the lyrical ballads of 1798,1800 and 1802. It is conventionally divided into three parts. These being the Restoration Age (1600 1700) where figures such as John Milton and John Dryden were renowned. The Augustan Age (1700 1750) where Alexander Pope himself was a central poetic figure and The Age of Johnson (1750 1798). The primary focus is of course the Augustan Age, where Pope s work is prevalent. The Eighteenth century brought a new war of words, with a quarrel in 1690 s France in L Académie Française, putting in to place a new historical sense of culture across Europe. Catching is an essential skill in football so in order to master the skill an individual must first learn how to catch and throw. Learning how to perform the skill at a faster rate is the next step after knowing how to perform the skill. After you learn how to throw the ball then you can start practicing with the speed of the throw. When you have learned the skill and have practiced to perform it well then you practice to perform it consistently by being fatigued, under stress, or under pressure. Overall practicing a skill takes a tremendous amount of time and effort that separates the level between all the competitors in a sport. Skills don t necessarily have to be physical they can be related to mental processes too. For example, in chess where one must try and predict and read their opponents next possible move, it requires the use of the mental state to be able to counter the opponent s moves. Every sport whether physical or mental contains a multitude of skills that must be mastered by the player. This is what makes every sport extremely tough to compete in due to the tremendous amount of practice that must be done to be great at every possible skill. This choice is also based on the known deficit of support to military men and women who frequently suffer from life altering physical and emotional injuries. The Armed Services YMCA is a well organized and highly rated association, with a rich history of serving since the civil war. It is thus a suitable strategic partner that fits our organizational goals and desire to integrate precedent setting CSR practices. This charity also fits our budget and presents a unique opportunity to serve in a barely exploited area, which will appeal to our shareholders. Conversely, my analysis indicated that Invisible Children would require higher scaling of resources and commitment in order to make an impact while their thematic area may be hard to resonate with our audience. Elsewhere, Community HousingWorks appeared capable of self funding and represented a fairly common CSR partner who wouldn t present BusComm Enterprises as any different among peers. It was also my opinion that the San Diego Brain ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A subliminal stimulus is found in this subconscious section of our mind because they operate below the invisible line of what you are presently aware of and are able to interpret by your subconscious (Biology Online, 2014). The first understanding that there may be something other than our conscious that could influence us came from a man named Sir Francis Galton in 1879. This belief would latter go on to inspire much of Freud s theories of human behavior like the Freudian Slip, a time when unconscious though gets blurted out during inappropriate circumstances (Gazzaniga, 2016). • 28. Literary Analysis Of The Stranger By Charles Camus While studying many works of literature, several themes present themselves in in depth readings, such as the theme of otherness in Albert Camus The Guest . This story centers on a character, an outsider, who is trying to fit into the society in the story. It may not be the fact that the stranger is different in looks, culture, or language like it is in this short story, but it is just the fact that they are not the same, which causes them to be the outsider and fulfill the role of the otherness. As we look through the short story The Guest , and through the short novel The Stranger , we can see that Albert Camus is working towards the idea of Otherness and how it can affect societies where the otherness is seen as undesirable. Otherness, as defined by Merriam Webster, is the quality or fact of being different. In The Guest and in The Stranger we are able to see the use of Otherness . The pattern of otherness and trying to find common ground between the characters is prevalent in Camus works set in Algerian French control. Daru and the prisoner are the complete opposites of each other culturally, linguistically, and ethnically; they are set up to be each other s other from the beginning, and yet, they seem to be able to find some kind of common ground. I am interested in why Camus made it so that these two men, who are strangers in the beginning, can be seen as comrades near the ending. The portrayal of homosexuality in film and TV has come a very long way since the 1920 s. What viewers see on TV about homosexuality is really just a representation of America s changing public view on the subject. While we have come to accept the topic of homosexuality in American society more willingly, we have substituted much of our prejudice about gays with the stereotypes that we see on TV constantly. Along with moral issues, social unfairness such as poverty and race have always been woven into concern among the two sides. One argument touches on the economic state of the convicted and how it affects his/her chances of being executed. The model believes that the cause of schizophrenia symptoms is from abnormal dopamine in the brain (Preston, et al., 2017). The premise is based off two observations. The first one is that antipsychotic drugs are able to bind and block the dopamine receptors (Preston, O Neal, et al., 2017). The second observation is that the antipsychotic drugs increases dopamine which create paranoid schizophrenia symptoms (Preston, et al., 2017). The Glutamate Model premise is from the phencyclidine (PCP) drug (Preston, et al., 2017). The upside of the glutamate model is that the PCP is able to block the glutamate at the N methyl D asparate signals in the brain (Preston, et al., 2017). PCP increases symptoms that schizophrenia lack such as, negative thinking, apart and disorganization (Preston, et al., 2017). Neurodevelopmental/Neurodegenerative Model (NNM) is different from the former two models. NNM examines the biological factors that are considered abnormal (Preston, et al., 2017). Cable providers are willing to pay more for these channels, which they end up having to charge the end consumer more for. These premium channels differentiate content providers from one another. The content providing business is a highly capital intensive business. Therefore, the capital required to enter the strategic group and compete is extremely high. Though he is strongly compelled by his sense of duty, his even stronger emotions often distract him. Contrastly, Socrates is portrayed by Plato to be at a level just above human. He is capable of seeing past emotion and impulses of the flesh in a manner few others, if any at all, are able to do. Socrates transcendence beyond earthly desires and focus on the betterment of the soul allows him to be the foremost instructor in virtue despite unfavorable circumstances; Aeneas, on the other hand, is a virtuous leader who is hindered by his furor, or uncontrolled emotion, and relies on heavenly guidance to keep him in check. Many virtuous deeds were done by the hands of Aeneas. He is a good man and an exceptional leader. This is exemplified by the way he and his father take the Greek Achaemenides into their party after the man was left by his own companions to die on the island of Polyphemus the Cyclops (Aen. 3.706 712). The Trojans had only recently escaped the destruction of their beloved Ilium, which fell because they trusted another Greek, Sinon, who also claimed to be abandoned by his countrymen (Aen. 2.74 76). • 44. Poetry By John Keats And Ode On Melancholy Poetry is a literary work which is portrayed by the expression of feelings and ideas by poets using a distinctive style or rhythmic pattern. It is used to convey many poets ideas and emotions in a way that is vivid and imaginative. Poetry allows the reader to imagine what the poet is describing through sensual descriptions and other literary devices that invite them to picture life in the eyes of the poet. In the poems Ode to a Nightingale and Ode on Melancholy by John Keats, both poems stimulate an emotional response through their meaning. They describe that while in most cases joy can be experienced through feeling pain, fulfillment of happiness comes from living and thinking passionately. In order to experience joy and the wonderful things in life, you have to experience pain first and also surround yourself with the beauty of the gift of life and its many offerings. John Keats conveys this in his poetry by using literary devices such as imagery, personification, alliteration, and various sensual descriptions to describe the feeling of joy and happiness that can be experienced in many different ways throughout both poems. Although John Keats was not one of the many well known poets of his time, his poetry began to influence a diverse range of poets and writers after his death by the end of the 19th century.
